On a note unrelated to dumdum, I feel like an often overlooked aspect of the single-shot rifles, is how they could subconsciously transition your play style into this aggressive-evasive tempo, which in itself is actually super advantaged in mid-range combat. The weapon itself may not look as strong as the meta ones on paper, but for average hunters like me, it’s a great learning tool at least

I'm very glad they are doing something about the Cenny dumdum. When it was first added and given that buff alongside it was pretty strong but eventually found it's place, However with the recent patch notes and such that described the intentions of Crytek making that ammo scarce; I've been seeing it a lot more... Last night when I was playing every other team had Cenny dumdum... 9 people all with cenny dumdum (It was absolutely awful and I'm glad they are doing something about it) ps. if you heart this you owe me a kiss on the lips.

Funny that you assume people aren't stockpiling custom ammo before they became scarce because Crytek just announce it weeks before the update. Making stuff more rare has the same effect as making it more expensive. Sure people are gonna use it less. That doesn't make dying to avto and now soon Dolch FMJ any less frustrating.

Haven't watch the video yet BUT, Springfield is my fav weapon in the game and... If it gets some QOL traits and new gameplay possibilities, I mean... Can't say no to that! Very hyped by the upcoming event, can't wait to spend a few more hundreds of hours on this gun :D

I imagine the silencer changes will make silenced weapons louder and to be able to have truly silent weapons you have to use the subsonic ammunition like in real life

only dum dum being put as scarce is weird, i appreciate it but they should put other ammo types like some guns with fmj and high velo etc
