Long Ammo Fire is incredibly strong. Unlike bleed, you always know when an enemy is affected by the status condition, which is nice. I like to run Mosin Bayonette + Rival HC Slugs, or Obrez Mace + Slate Riposte Slugs, that way you can cover mid-long range and also push compounds =)

Like I’ve learned to be more calm when I’m hit and normally I would panic heal, but now if I have the opportunity to peek and headshot one then I will. This loadout seems like a ton of fun and similar to the Sparks & Choke Bolts loadout, but this loadout has more versatility. Keep dropping those bangers! 🔥

Agreed. I stick to a few loadouts that I have some success with, meme loadouts are fun to watch but unplayable for me. I have so much trouble landing shots sometimes. In these videos I can't tell if they are seeing the hunters when I can't or they are just that good at audio queues and anticipating movement.

Martini is my favorite and only long ammo rifle i play (unless i have some contrabvand). I prefer Ironside version but standard is also good because we can take 2 ammo types so i usually run half fire half standard. LeMat is just so good because of Slugs and big magazine. Overall very good and fun loadout. Nice to see someone play it the right way.

Hunt has to have the biggest percentage of walking Dunning-Kruger graphs I've seen in any online game. Getting called a cheater by someone who's too lazy to learn about the game isn't even praise, it's just sad.
I've never really used fire ammo, but I main the Martini. Do we know the range at which it scorches a health bar? Is it an instant burn-off as well as setting ablaze at 40m or less? What's the scorch value? I.e. Will it take off a small bar but not a large one?
@Whityyy ohh okay, thanks. I forgot about Dragon breath, so I think I got confused. So what we're saying is that it's main purpose is to be used in close quarters to burn and startle the enemy, rather than use it as a tool to burn off chunks?
@@davemurray7505 ye basically to apply extra pressure on body hits in close quarter combat. It either makes them instantly stop the burn (which makes them an easy target hence why I recommend FMJ ammo if they hide behind cover) OR they will lose a bar because they continue fighting on fire and then you can just body tap them

I used to use half normal and half explosive rounds for their destructive value for things like concertina, insta exploding barrels or general shock and awe of the enemy. But they're pretty impractical these days. I wanna try a shorty shotgun along with my rifle, but they nerfed them into the ground like 3 or 4 years ago and they've barely recovered since! I hear they're pretty good now, especially the Terminus shorty with levering, but I'm not convinced yet.

I play alot Martini Fire + Handcrossbow poison/Fire ist fun + pretty strong, I think Martini is Underrated, the Reload feels so good.

Martini needs either a velocity buff or fast special bullets. It's crazy how bad it feels at medium range given it is long ammo.
I would kinda love spitzer on the martini, would make the scope variants kinda reasonable to play too

It only puts people on fire up to 40 meters and doesnt work like dragonbreath, it scorches 4-5hp on hit at any distance I believe tho 🤔
