Too large to get in between the rocks but still usable, I’ve even used the 13 inch coil on the wider sections. I prefer the smaller coils to get underneath the logs and in between rocks, etc.. next tide cycle, I have some challenging spots coming up. Maybe too much trash to even make a video but we’ll see. You never know in between the trash there could be some silver coins, hopefully.

V2 is can be used on saltwater beach the foreshore that you see me hunting on is brackish water so therefore V2 and V3 work with no problem with regularground balancing. I always recommend that you speak to Georgie with Nexus or email him before ordering. The 7 inch DD coil not this video but other vids is completely waterproof. The two coils you see here can get wet but not submerged. Nexus control box cannot get wet. If you want your coils to be completely waterproof and speak to Georgie of Nexus about that. I primarily use mine on land so I didn’t have the extra resin put in the coils. All coils and machines are hand built one at a time.

The 9" SS is a nice coil for that environment that you are hunting in. I guess that the 11.5" SS would be too large.
