Thank you for posting the procedure. I ended up replacing the turn signal bulb with a regular Sylvania, but the procedure explanation was spot-on. 2015 Nissan Altima SL
Bought mine 6 years ago and need to replace one. My warranty expired but I wasn’t expecting to get it for free to begin with. Bought a new pair with relays. Still love this site and switchbacks
I am ready to purchase these bulbs just want to make sure they work .. The switch back option should work once i plug them in ? and how long does this bulb last?
+James Waters, yes, the bulb will work. We take the time to test our products here at our facility to ensure reliability. If for any reason you do have an issue with any of our products, we do carry a 3-year limited warranty on all our products. We do recommend for any turn signal application that you purchase our Resistor Kit (link below) to prevent hyperblinking from occurring, but other than that installation is 100% plug-and-play. LEDs typically have a lifetime of 40,000 hours. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us! www.diodedynamics.com/store/accessories/led-accessories/resistors/led-resistor-kit-18974

+RiderX, thanks for reaching out! Without the resistor, our Front Turn Signal Switchback LEDs will function properly, but the turn signals will begin to blink fast (hyperblink) when LED bulbs are installed. By adding a resistor to the bulb's circuit, you can mimic the power consumption of the original bulb, and return the vehicle to normal turn signal speed. HOW??? IF all you're doing is replacing the current turn signal bulb with your switchback LED.....HOW does your LED turn into a DRL light??? There HAS to be another step that makes the turn signal bulb turn into a DRL. PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND!!!
One of my headlights bulb burn out, on a altima2016 I brought it to nissan agency to get it change, and they said they need to get the bumper out completely to replace burn signal light.can you believe that. Because i do not want to deal with that all the time.
Jjjitana solis yes they make some cars like that so that you have to take it into the dealership and pay $300 for a light bulb changed. You might be able to get away with turning your wheel all the way to one side and then taking off the inner wheel well and then just reaching in and changing out the light like that
+Diode Dynamics Is there any modification we can do to make them trigger/turn off once headlights are turned on? Just ordered a pair before reading, might look funny with 6 lights on up front haha
Went with the iJDMTOY led switchback DRL's. They are very bright and turn off at night when my headlights "auto" turn on as well as if manually turned on.

Hi there! These bulbs are 100% plug-and-play. However, if you notice hyper-flashing after installation, you can also install our Resistor Kit to restore the OEM blink rate!
@@Carmine8822 Installation is very straightforward! You can simply follow all the same steps highlighted in the video. For the 2013-2018 Nissan Altima Sedan, the front turn signal bulbs are 7443-sized bulbs.
Sorry for the confusion. These are are not vehicle-specific bulbs. We offer different size turn signal bulbs that work with hundreds of different makes and models! Whether or not you will need to install resistors to correct hyperflash is on a vehicle-to-vehicle basis. By this we mean, it may need them, it may not- even if they are the same make and model. So, we always recommend installing resistors. They will never hyperflash with them, but they might without them!

Do you guys have them in Red? As in when just driving they will be red but when putting the turn signal the light will turn Amber.
+Robert Villalobos Unfortunately we do not offer red switchback bulbs. Sorry about that!
Robert Villalobos that's illegal too bro
Do the parking lights/ headlights need to be on for these to work?
Hi there! Our switchback bulbs function as a daytime running lights, so they'll work with your factory headlight settings!
HOW??? IF all you're doing is replacing the current turn signal bulb with your switchback LED.....HOW does your LED turn into a DRL light??? There HAS to be another step that makes the turn signal bulb turn into a DRL. PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND!!!
@@russellsisk3454 in this car the parking lights are yellow, when turn signal is activated the yellow blinks
You might be able to get away with turning your wheel all the way to one side and then taking off the inner wheel well and then just reaching in and changing out the light like that
Jjjitana solis yep and "because we have to remove the bumper Ms its gonna cost 400.00..." bull shit I say. They told me the same thing
do the lights come on when the car is started and stay on while the headlights are on also?
+mendes dorlean, that is correct. They will function as the turn signal, daytime running light, and remain on when the headlights are on!
+Diode Dynamics Is there any modification we can do to make them trigger/turn off once headlights are turned on? Just ordered a pair before reading, might look funny with 6 lights on up front haha
+Darrell Conover, unfortunately, there isn't a modification to make the bulb function like that. Sorry about that!
+Diode Dynamics ok, bummer but I cancelled my order. Thank you for responding.
Went with the iJDMTOY led switchback DRL's. They are very bright and turn off at night when my headlights "auto" turn on as well as if manually turned on.
Hey Guys. What colors are the turn signal wires for the resistors? thanks

Do you need anything else then the bulbs or is it plug and play

So you'll need to install resistors but will still functioning correctly without them? What?
Sorry for the confusion. These are are not vehicle-specific bulbs. We offer different size turn signal bulbs that work with hundreds of different makes and models! Whether or not you will need to install resistors to correct hyperflash is on a vehicle-to-vehicle basis. By this we mean, it may need them, it may not- even if they are the same make and model. So, we always recommend installing resistors. They will never hyperflash with them, but they might without them!
Hey I need to remove my fog light completely, driving on the highway, a rock hit my fog light and broke the glass. So i need to replace the entire thing. How might I do that.
Thanks!
+N Tar, unfortunately we do not currently offer fog light housings for the Altima. We would recommend using a factory housing as a replacement.

My question is when I unlock my car, will the DRL’s come on?
If the factory DRL boards came on when you unlocked the doors, as long as they are wired accordingly, our DRL Boards should do the same!
I have no DRL on mine. I was hoping that this solution would change that. The 2013-2015 don’t come with drl lights
