I just had the same problem, receiving the wrong type of incompatible replacement bulb from Amazon. Same exact issue, it’s those little pegs on either side of the connector. Amazon lists a lot of bulbs with those pegs while saying they are compatible with this Nissan. A little relieved, I’m not crazy.
Most experienced techs recommend not to touch the new light bulbs with bare fingers as the oils, grease, etc. deteriorate the bulb quicker and they recommend using vinyl gloves or a cloth, paper towel. I am doing mine tomorrow. Thank you for your detailed video.
I just did this the bulb is a 7444NA you dont need to remove the bottom clip as it will pivot after the screws are out, I was missing push clips as well, I wonder if they even put them on at the factory, good thing I had extras. I also found a cigarette pack in there.
I watched your video, bought the correct light bulbs, bought a rivet puller to make things super easy and jumped into this project. With your help, I had the whole process done in under 10 minutes. Had my wife time me. She thinks its amazing the ease I have using youtube to do projects easier. Thanks and keep them videos coming. Also, I didn't find anything in the space around the bulb. Definitely no birds
I know this is an old video but if anyone knows how to change the right front signal be there’s some coolant looking stuff between the light and the wheel well I don’t know how it get around it it’s a 2015 SV
Lol I’m dyin!! Lmao!! There’s a dead bird 🐦 a soup can too!! 😂😂😂 Thanks for showing me how to replace the bulb. It looks a little difficult but I can probably manage. Couldn’t just be simple enough going under the hood. Wow thanks bro loved your video.♥️♥️
Hilltown while I complained some, it wasn’t too bad. But the trend is moving in a direction of being able to do less and less. I enjoy learning new things tho!
Sadly that's all cars these days. On some you have to remove the bumper cover to do the same thing. Nice thing is, now most the screws and 'rivets' are standardized across manufacturers and you can get new ones at the auto parts stores or even Lowe's and other home improvement stores. So if you want to replace missing ones, you don't have to go to the dealer!
Nate King Pipes I was curious about getting some screws & rivets. Thanks for the direction! I’ve also noticed that they seem fairly brittle. Probably should have some on hand. Thanks!
I was able to change my light bulb. Thanks for posting this video. Have a good day.
glad it helped!
Called PUSH PIN attachments
good to know!

I'm changing mine out today. I don't know why these manufacturers make it difficult for us just to change a light bulb.💨💨
So you could go to them and pay them to change it
agreed
Thank you, brother!
welcome!
Great video!!!!! What size bulb was that? I guess I can find in the video. But thanks for your time.

Awww poor bird Lol thanks for the help!

I like the video, but it's the title is a little misleading. You said it yourself, the bulb FOR the signal burnt out. 🤭😬
Poor bird. Weird.
well, ya know the interwebz
I watch the video by the Salas guy about changing the lamp! It took 5 minutes to change my turning signal bulb! If you do it this way, who knows!
harv jonm where is the video?
probably would take longer!
