Mike, your videos are great! So in depth and so much information in every video. As someone looking at starting an Ag Drone spraying business (down under), your channel is a gold! Thank you for your content!!
When I flew to go see Hylio in Texas…the end task obstacle avoidance is the reason why I didn’t go Helio when I built my agriculture drone business. DJI, and the NU Way Ag trailer, has been awesome to work with!!!
Curious of the full weight, water , chem, generators and drones loaded like your on your way to cover some ground. Any chance you could hit a scale on your way in upcoming video
@Minkeykeybisniz Agreed, would be interesting/helpful info. Also very curious and wish they would give us a breakdown of how many miles they have covered with the trucks to estimate fuel)maintenance costs. Curious about how much chemicals they think they use in a total summer, the revenue sounds impressive but chemical costs at the end of the summer are probably crazy! -but just wanted to share my same question as you & ask that if you somehow find out let us know please (?)!
Greetings NuWay Ag, Mike & those at Drone deer recovery; I hope all is well and would like to thank you for the video. I do have a guestion(s): 1: Maybe in some up coming video could you give us a rough approximate of how many miles you put on a vehicle say a month, year, whichever you easily have so those of us that want to figure out a fuel cost can interpret our vehicle, it's mpg/fuel cost for the miles you have in maybe your busiest months? 2: is there any approximation you can give us on the cost/amount you are using to spray/what the rate is roughly for the chemicals, ECT? & Finally curious if you might do a more specific detail on the hole licensing and getting started the process, from 107 to 137 to ..,.... ECT ECT. Thank you again, great video & info as always!!
Interesting trailer design. Maybe do something like an RV leveling kit for the trailer. Also wouldn’t making the top platform adjustable help with transport costs because of increased efficiency? Lower the top platform for transport and storage. Raise it up to deploy the trailer on location. I know this is new. Not discrediting your work just spitballing ideas.
I'm a pilot in Brazil, I'm looking for opportunities in the USA, I work with very difficult terrain, if anyone needs a pilot with experience I can show my portfolio
I'll just keep asking this until someone answers. No one wants to answer this question. Can I make a living just spraying without selling trailers, selling drones etc etc. apparently not because none of you guys ever answer.
You can absolutely make a living just as a custom applicator. If you have 10,000 acres in row crop to spray and you charge $15 per acre, that's $150,000 in just a few short months. With the proper setup that can be achieved in less than 2 months.

Who cant figure out what that deck is made of? took me about a day or two and I was able to order it for our rigs... 4x8 sheets and custom sizes.
Where did you order it? What is it?

It seems that DJI is first in and best dressed. I hate that everything in that space has a tie to an adversarial nation!
it's a global economy dude
like your fking phone, TV, car? lol

You can, but you need about 10k in row crop. It also depends upon what you charge.
You’re quite emotional
Yes, depending on how much you charge and how many acres you cover. You gotta work for it
