    Which is the most productive spray drone on the market? Hylio collaborated with the USDA and Rantizo to run field tests comparing spray quality and productivity across the flagship Hylio, DJI, and XAG systems. Check out the video to see our testing process and results. Reach out to us at 1-832-219-6778, contact@hyl.io, or at our website: www.hyl.io to learn more.

    This is amazing. By far the most comprehensive test of spray drone capability I’ve seen carried out. I heard about this test and think it’s pretty gutsy to bring in your competitors and experienced pilots to put forth their best work. It shows that Hylio has confidence in a great product. I’m looking forward to see what’s coming from them!

    T50 vs. 272 would have been a fairer comparison

    Great job Hylio. I'm a customer of Hylio and couldn't be happier. Can't wait to put our 272 to work. The Hylio family is the best. Thanks, Neil

    I can only speak about the Dji T40 with which I have more than 14,826 acres of experience, but the operator seriously made mistakes. The drone is indeed very sensitive to the wind, unfortunately, but I never sprayed with such a narrow swath width. It's unnecessary
    smaller than 29.5 maximum 27.88 feet. The drone can pump 3.17 gallons per minute, which means that at 29.5 feet wide your application rate here the Drone can fly at maximum speed, which is 22.37 mph. I have sprayed 4.49 gallons per acre at 22.37 mph. Now, for route creation, you always have to make sure it creates an efficient route, another error the drone unfortunately makes stupid routes many times. One tip would be to align the route with the longest and straightest side by simply double-tapping on that side. And I personally always deactivate the efficient resumption point, and also make sure to choose the starting point at a nearby corner."
    If my maths was wrong then please let me know i always use metric system

      @@Hsername5 Hello, I have a business with my father (50/50 partnership). He is also the client for whom I perform the most frequent spraying. I’m not sure how familiar you are with Spraying, but I spray the same land multiple times. The total area for my clients was approximately 1,406 acres, and I also sprayed for others when I had time. I completed this work within one year

      That's pretty impressive! I think you meant 2.5 gal/acre at 22 mph ( at 5 gals my T 40 pump is maxed and down to 8 mph) Would love to see your set-up though. I've got about 6000 acres on my T 40 and been averaging 32-35 acres/ hr. with about 1,5 min for turn around. I agree that the test swath width was 8-10' too narrow and they probably had the obstacle avoidance turned on that limits it to 15.5 mph. Most of the fields I do are 160 acres+ and the "smart" routing was a major pain every time I tried using it. .

    Interesting.. I do 45 acres an hour all the time at 2 gpa with T40. The speed is never determined by software, always by pilot.

    Imagine if P100 Pro have 72 liters capacity ! I run P100 Pro and i made 3000 acres in two and a half weeks. No problems with software, no problems AT ALL. Very good radar for obstacle avoid! And please you cant compare 72 liters dronе with 50 or 40 liters drones..... And look at those hoses scattered all over the drone. Your product have to look good, not like you collect parts from garage. Make a video about obstacle avoidance to see your radar how good is it, its one of the most important thing. Don't take this like insult but like advice! Tomorrow maybe you will better. Cheers.

    This is why i don't get dji fanboys that composing about ban saying there are no American drones ant where near close to dji. Cause they don't even know commercial drones or even searvh anything but dji. They didn't even know mainstream drone companies i named.

    • @ZinnNasty
      @ZinnNasty 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @hehe-mq2bk in the spray drone industry this isn't true. The Hylio can out spray DJI and while they might be a bit more price wise they are upgradeable with the new technology and the value stays with the drone. Where the DJI drones get phased out and worthless in a couple years. Also the Chinese gov subsides this market and that's why they are cheaper, not necessarily the best or the best value.

    Bad results. DJI's flight speed at 2 GPA is almost double what they were tested at. Neither DJI nor XAG had product experts on hand so they weren't represented accurately, yet this video and PDF are presented as scientific and authoritative. C'mon! Y'all need to upload a rematch. All ag drones are similar in capability at this point. If Hylio wants to stand out to customers and investors y'all should prioritize credibility.

    • @Hylio
      @Hylio  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      We appreciate the input. Hylio did not operate the DJI drones in this study; operators from Rantizo with a lot of experience on the T30 and T40 platforms were running them. As far as we understand, the DJI software chose that flying speed for this field based on the 2GPA target. Please share if you have had different experiences.

    • @loganl.andrew4459
      @loganl.andrew4459 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      The Rantizo Rep admits they aren't familiar with the processes on the T40 (10:39). They are not DJI experts, which taints the results. Hylio makes competent drones. There's no need to fib with the fine print.

    • @Hylio
      @Hylio  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      While the Rantizo pilots are not direct DJI employees or product engineers, they are very skilled and have used the T30 and T40 platforms extensively for commercial applications. Based on what we saw in the field, it did not seem like there was much they could do about the DJI flight software locking them into those settings for that target dosage on that area in this test. The experience showed us that while there are positives to the DJI software, it can also be somewhat confusing and unintuitive, even for very skilled operators. @@loganl.andrew4459

      @@HylioI was impressed with the AG-272 at the field day at the conference last week, but that was not an apples-to-apples comparison. At 2 gpa and 11-12’ altitude, the T40 should be flying at 20 mph with an effective swath of 28’ or more. Always happy to see development amongst all companies, but clearly the operator was not familiar with that aircraft.

      @loganl.andrew4459 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @brad I don't know anything about XAG except they look much less advanced than Hylio. If you have flat or undulating terrain, Hylio is the king of speed. They'll go 30+ mph. Hylios are now legal to swarm, which we've done, and a few on a field will haul massive ass. Incredibly productive on non-technical terrain. If you have terraces or technical obstacles nobody matches DJI's safety systems, and nobody comes close to DJI's manual control. The software on the T50 is the best yet and with the extra sprayers it can do 5 gpa at 22 mph. The most productive on challenging terrain.
