My favorite thing about the entirety of this chapter is that the Sentinels are collectively kicking ass just as much as the Slayer. They aren't bound by the usual trope where the protagonist's allies are only seen at the beginning stage. Of course, we don't see them up close. But we can witness their unperturbed progress through Immora as the Slayer himself tears through the capital.
Thinking back, they managed to fight their way all the way through the literal capital of all of hell in the matter of about 30-60 minutes, killing every defender. Pretty incredible army if you ask me.

I imagine most people would feel empowered when you have the Slayer and one of your people's most legendary warrior-commanders leading the charge.

I think that there's a really good chance that id is planning on doing MLs on all DLC levels, as that's what they were hinting towards when talking about the reasoning behind nerfing TAG1 and as to why TAG2 wasn't as difficult as TAG1. It'll also give them more time to flesh out and make the arena fights more unique, as I assume they were quickly hit by the 1 year deadline and had to rush some things to get it out on the 1 year promise.

I hope doomslayer's chapter master, commander Valen survived the assault on immora. I would like to see him again in the next doom game. Initially, I had always thought that in the dlc of doom eternal, we'd get to play as him. It would be about him deciding to get out of hell after hearing about the doomslayer killing the icon of sin. His weapons would be similar to doomslayer, except the ballista's arbalest mod would be a three round burst and the destroyer blade would allow free movement. His equipment launcher would be a shoulder mounted railgun with precision aiming, And would launch grenades that explode and burn on impact. His supershotgun would be one he obtained from killing a marauder and functions similar to the one from DOOM 2016. And there's also his sentinel hammer. Also all his glory kill would involve his fists. There'd be a section where you'd get to pilot one of those mechs littered in hell, in order to defeat a titan which would serve an end level boss.

Someone let me know when id Software makes a Battlefront-style game around the events of Doom Eternal and Ancient Gods where you can play as the foot soldiers in the background. I want to play as a Sentinel Warrior fighting demons while Davoth and the Doom Slayer duke it out in the throne room.
They could but "noooooooooooooooooooooo!!! Let's use next gen graphics so every PC may fry if we put too much stuff in it". That's why I much rather older graphics at any day, you can have way more stuff going on at the same time.

That's probably cause either the music is on the speed of stuff like turrets or the opposite. The devs think in music when it comes to backgrounds and settings
