Definitely my favorite too. If anything, I think Andrew and David did a BETTER job than Mick in some spades, because their music just overall feels more intense and gritty.
@@TheArgentPaladin My favorite thing about their work is how it fits the level they're made for a lot better. For some of Mick's tracks, the music could work in any level. But with the TAG soundtrack, swapping 2 level's songs wouldn't work because the music is tailored to the vibe of the level it's in. Like Immora here, which sounds like WAR!
This is a dream that will never come true but I wish David and Andrew worked WITH Mick for future games, just imagine what they all could do! but yeah sadly i dont think its happening...
@@TheArgentPaladin I feel like Andrew has way more passion than Mick too. He has made remakes of DOOM 1, 2 and 64 over the years before working on official DOOM music.

So I do a little something different with my gamerips; I like to amplify the heavy combat just enough so that when you put it into a DAW, the loudness meter can easily reach the limit. Also, I de-amp the light combat and ambience so that the the highs and lows appear fully balanced out, kinda like how you hear those different layers of intensity in Mick's own mixes. So in short, it's clearer because the volume balancing is similar to what mick does with his mixes.
@@TheArgentPaladin That's crazy that you were able to essentially decompress a compressed song. I can definitely hear the difference too. This is fantastic!
