Safe to say that Josh smith is heavily impressing everyone… if he can develop a leader mentality he would definitely be an option as a face of a franchise. I hope the rangers recognize his efforts and offer him a bag for more years as a utility.
The Rangers offense (And especially Seager) needs to get out of their collective rut pronto. It simply isn't sustainable for like half the offense to come from some singular rando infielder who happens to be hot at this particular time. Smith might be pretty stellar right now but there's no guarantee that that will last for much longer.
I get it we’re only almost a quarter of a way through the season but thank you Nats. As a M’s fan of a poverty franchise we need to hang on to the division lead as long as possible
10 were stranded in the game for the rangers. The bullpen dominated for the most part but Trevor was really getting himself into a lot of tough spots, but more importantly he got himself out of all of them.
I want to cheer for the Rangers, but my gosh. Scoring no points twice with bases loaded and no outs. Now, before I get accused of being a fair weather fan, I am a 100% Rangers fan when they win.
This was one of the most furstrating games in a long time.. Heaney finally pitched great game and offense can't get a man across on so many occassions
Agreed, and i feel bad for heaney, he really needs a W and was lights out yesterday. He didnt deserve another loss. Rangers bats need to figure somethin out asap because theres no reason they should have lost this game. Should have been a blow out.
That is just a lack of concentration. You shouldn’t ever get them loaded with no outs and not score, let alone twice, let alone against a lousy pitcher like Williams.
Williams is 3-0, every single one of these players in the MLB are spectacular at what they do. There arent any "lousy" players in professional sports. I have 3 cousins in the NFL and to even get considered to play at that level you have to be the elite of the elite. Doesnt mean you'll always win but they are all amazing players. Did you not play sports?
@@rillo806 In the grand scheme of things, yes, all these players are outstanding and the cream of the crop. But when people talk about a player being good or bad in professional sports, they mean relative to the competition. a player hitting .120 in the MLB is good compared to the general population but is awful compared to his competition.
@@colepriceguitar1153 a lot of times its not the competition. Every team has just as good of a chance as the next in a single game. Coaching and chemistry has a lot to do with it. Thats why some players dont do anything one season then switch teams and all of a sudden they are breaking records. They all have the ability its just sometimes they are in the wrong place.
Watching Seager swing and miss reminds me of the 2019 NLDS when he was with the Dodgers....He struck out many times against the Nats in big situations
Heaney pitched a gem and when he was exiting I didn't see a single person standing and clapping... Jeez
Those pitiful fans are truly horrible
Undefeated in May let’s go!!!
You got a laugh out of me for that one. :)

How did they have the bases loaded twice with zero outs and not score any runs?

Josh smith has been on a TEAR FOR HOT MIN LETS GET HIM SUM RECOGNITION
Evan Carter sold my parlay all he needed was 1.5 hits 😔
The Nationals don't even know how they won this lol
Should have been like a comfortable 5-1 or 6-1 for the Rangers
The Tangiers did not want to hit today, the bases were loaded twice with no out, ground ball, strikeout and fly ball.😂
@9:08 that baseball bat goes flying - pretty much sums up this game for the Rangers. 😂
lol "and our boys are undefeated in the month of may" i love it, truth!
The Rangers' offense is struggling big time.
YES SIR GO NAT'S GO!!!
Yeah Trevor, way to get out of those bases loaded inning 2 times !!!
I get it we’re only almost a quarter of a way through the season but thank you Nats. As a M’s fan of a poverty franchise we need to hang on to the division lead as long as possible
Enjoy it while ya got it
LETTT GOOO NATS
When is Scherzer pitching?
Would be curious if either Smith or Jung could conceivably play LF when Jung comes back. Carter needs some time off.
Go Nats!
The Washington Nationals are 15-15🔴🔵⚪️🏛️🇺🇸
Go Rangers! Great game.
Striking out with the bases loaded and 1 out is UNACCEPTABLE. Play some small ball or something what the f%$@!!!
Damn the nationals pitching, dominated them
No they didn’t.

Can someone explain to me how the defending World Series champions through 31 games are a half game better than the WashingtonNationals?
The nats are improving
This is also just the being of the nationals dynasty
Because first half of regular season don’t really tell you much.
There pressing
The same way the D.Backs are under .500 this year
Seager needs a few days off. Dude is struggling and has been pressing for weeks behind the plate.
U gotta work through it , trea turner on the Phillies was struggling and work himself out he don't need to be benched
He might have a injury nobody knows about
@@haydenthrower4710he is coming off surgery, so my guess it is still not 100%
Yeah true

all it would take to score is one good bunt... I get it, everyone wants that grand slam hero status but boy this sucked
You have no backbone.
@@rillo806 i'd rather squeeze a play to tie the game / get ahead than lose 1:0 to Washington...
rangers got no hustle anymore
Besbol⚾️🇺🇲
Finding another way to lose. The old Rangers are back.
