I've watched Rangers Baseball ever since I was a kid. This team has so much young talent on it, it's hard to believe it's real. We have a solid roster now.

The defending MLB World Champs showing you why they are the reigning champs with a nice comeback win (The only AL West team to win, btw)! This Langford kid is going to be one special player! Wow!
6:28 Justin Steele sacrified his hamstring to make horrific play. But its sad that he got injured on opening day. I hope he recovers. By the way, good job rangers on the W even though im a cubs fan, not a rangers fan.
Really nice win. Great job of Bradford shaking off the homer and finishing up strong. Also Ornelas 4/4 with 3 RBI and Leiter 5 innings 2 h 2 runs 9Ks in win at R.R.
Josh Jung is extremely underrated. Has some good power and has amazing defense. The metrics don't like him, but the number of extra base hits that are saved because of him are insane.
Totally agree... Heim and LeClerc both should have played it as though it was not a foul ball. LeClerc was looking directly at the ump so he has absolutely NO excuse IMHO.
I’m happy Heim got his redemption. I bet he doesn’t make THAT mistake again. Also, in hindsight, Heim’s oversight most likely cost Jankowski a walk-off homer. But, a win’s a win!

Heim and jankowski bailed the umpire out. I don’t even blame heim for not going after the ball as it was obviously foul. Even I could hear the bat hit the ball.
Jonah Heim did not act like a World Series winning catcher. It’s ridiculous to allow a run to score because you are arguing with the umpire. It doesn’t matter if he ended up being right. Secure the ball first, prevent the runner from scoring, and then discuss the foul tip with the ump. SMH I’m glad Nasty Nate and Bochy didn’t make any excuses for Jonah instead they did the right thing and called him out on his incredibly poor way of handling that situation.
Jonah knows he messed up there and he'll learn from that. At least he and Janikowski made up for it. Leclerc did walk those two batters but I'm not worried about him at all. He had great pitches in this two AB's, just didn't quite hit on them
I was at the game and I came here to see if that was a foul ball in the 9th where the Cubs scored the go-ahead-run. LeClerc should have played it as though it were NOT foul cause the ump clearly did NOT call a foul ball, even though the replay showed it was.
I am just going to say it…PCA for defense in extras…he would have made that game winning hit by Heim a whole lot more interesting…that kid has the speed, instincts and fearlessness to layout for that and just might of made a video game highlight play.
What's up Ken... Happy Easter to you too I'm doing good, long time not hearing from you. I haven't heard from Rich or seen any post from him in awhile, i mean like a couple of years now... Not even in the White Sox highlights.
I have been mad at baseball since the 94 season strike. Barely pay attention to the season and haven't watched a full game. Baseball is supposed to make the hot summers bearable. But Last summer and fall I fell in love with this team and they brought baseball back to me. I can't wait for the next 161.
😂Welp at that play I was thinking like last year we had a blown call to a Chicago team and lost the game then we won the title, could it be? Lucky enough losing the game part is avoided.
@lorenzosolis6888 as a rangers fan, the Umps were bad for us, but they also gave our pitchers free strikes as well. Even on that same at bat, that 3-0 pitch was a ball called a strike. Not saying the Umps didn't give the Cubs a free run, but he was bad on both sides.
People keep rating the Astros ahead of the Rangers when the Rangers are a much taller team. That is because Jose Altuve - their watch pocket hercules - brings down their average height by two foot.
Jonah Heim just pulled off possibly the greatest ball don’t lie moment in sports history

Although it was just Opening Day, there was definitely a Post-Season feel to this game.
Don’t mess with Jonah Heim.
Just ask the White Sox.
What a game this was. I was thoroughly entertained.
Jonah Heim went from depression to one of the greatest comebacks ever.

Jankowski is clutch!!
Great start to the season baby against a damn good team and a stud of a pitcher in Justin Steele.
Dam good pitcher
The umps displeased the baseball gods and they didnt let it slide

I predict a Rangers-Braves World Series. In this video Globe Life Field’s acoustics make the crowd noise sound like Ken Griffey Jr. Slugfest on N64.
I get that it was a bad call, but if you’re Jonah Heim you can’t just stand there and yell at the umpire. That run scoring was 100% on him
I agree on this. Jonah Heims head was definitely not in the game, which is weird, because he's usually amazing. At least he made it up with a walkoff.
Ultimately he knows that and we all know, but it doesn’t make the call less frustrating. That’s why he came through and felt relieved to win it.
No it was ultimately on the guy who walked 2 batters
Totally agree... Heim and LeClerc both should have played it as though it was not a foul ball. LeClerc was looking directly at the ump so he has absolutely NO excuse IMHO.
you can argue that heim shares the fault, but pinning 100% of the blame on him when the umpire blatantly missed the call is straight bs
A good start to last year’s World Champs!
Jank coming in clutch again.
MLB why is foul ball not reviewable?? It would be an easy fix to a missed call.
