Thailand Day 2 - Exploring Bangkok & Leaving for Chiang Mai

We walked around Sukhunvit to see what the city centre looks like. I felt like the city became busier than before - there is a new shopping mall built near the station, more skyscrapers and more traffic.
In the evening we headed to the central station to take the night train to Chiang Mai and it turned out, the central station was moved right next to Chatuchak Weekend Market. Now you can arrive directly via metro which is super convenient… no more taxi and bus to get there! 😁
We booked last minute and couldn’t book the sleeper train, so here we go with the 3rd class seating for 12 hrs… 😂
