The Melancholy Sabatons are BiS for dps warriors up until at least ToC if I'm not mistaken.... the sheer amount of ArP on them makes them just incredibly good.
Hey all, never miss a video, but I just thought I’d drop my personal experience as a warrior main phase one wotlk, I was arms for a long time and got about %85 BIS… fury was not viable till I hit this point but once I Had my current 2H weapons (Black Ice and Demise) I can confirm, Fury Tears ass, if played correctly you should CONSISTENTLY both be in top 8 DPS in 25 mans. (Mainly Naxx) About 1/2 way through any raid, an arms warrior will struggle to keep up with you while you just pop CD’s and cleave mobs to mush making you a giggachad armour pen, support melee! If you have the base Setbonus, 2 solid weapons and fill in the blanks even with basic valour gear, you will cut through mobs like they are butter!! Just thought I’d let everyone know as I spent 2 months shitting on Fury just to discover once geared properly, it’s more promising than arms ever was!! 😁
This is exactly what im aiming for, been running arms since launch with titansteal destroyer, but im almost full BIS and just got the Inevitable defeat, so ya... fury does fine now lol

I'm sitting at about 4000gs and 16 expertise in raids and am doing fine, ~3-4k dps in arms. Just got Betrayer of Humanity so trying fury out next week with Armageddon
I have my expertise at 18 with a 7K GS and anything over this will just be a waste of other stats tbh, I actually had to remove Expertise gems because I never miss unless training a weapon, and base melee (literally just auto attack) is smashing shit for 2.5-3k , stack power, armour pen and haste over all else tbh man my haste is sitting at %10 and the rage pool is very generous and give a better quality of life to playing a warrior
Interestingly Ive heard a lot of warriors are starting totheorycraft and simming with 1 handers instead of 2 handers for naxx since rage isnt something you have too much of with low statted items. Might be something to look into since with 1 handers you can just spam abilities on GCD and almost never run out of rage even early on in wrath. Seems like good value atleast on single target even if you might be gimping your cleave a bit.
okay let me tell str8 up its trash. You ask me why? because warriors have intresting ability and every rotation and every dps spec should be played around it... hmmmmmmmmmmmmm YEA ITS DEEP WOUNDS. Deep wounds gets reworked in wrath and its better version of ignite. It scales from weapon dmg so whenever you crit you will apply a (?sec) dot that keeps scalling into bigger one if you crit more... this is why arms warr in T7 want agility and leather items, stacking agility gives you a lot of crit and more chances to stack deep wounds damage. 1h arms is a meme ofc

One thing to note is that 4set is primarily a cleave dps bonus , not much for single target. so if you are in a single target bossfight then Malygos leather chest , and Razuvious legs will be much better of a dps increase. only problem with this is that you already require Leather hands and Arpen boots from Malygos , and both being 226 Ilvl it will be very difficult to get all three , and it is also very guild unfriendly to take so much 226 Loot just for the one warrior of the guild over other melees ,unless everyone is okay with it ofc. 2set however is undeniably the best thing u can get for Arms in this tier with it Slam becomes a cheaper by 15 rage while doing more damage than mortal strike ( which is why its dropped out of rotation in favor of Slam + Heroic Strikes for rage control ). its also better to value strength and crit over armor pen for this tier. something i really agree with you on is that Grim toll is heavily overrated due to that 3.3.5a armor pen is a nerfed version of armor pen and it requires a really amount of it to scale on , it is still very good due to the hit rating. as for ranged slot envoy of mortality is indeed bis but aside from the obv Hunter prio there are Rogues that want it too but spinning fate is probably 2nd best thing indeed. im glad you are covering this topic as T7 warrior is pretty much always a heated topic but i do have a request if possible to try DW Hybrid Arms on the beta/ptr of classic wrath as on private servers in T7 it is definitely pulling tiny bit ahead of 2Hander arms and miles better than fury. it is primarily just making usage of heroic strike queuing while dw as arms while on sword/mace/axe spec , with each having diff results , there is currently a guide on youtube on it if you wish to investigate further. much love scott
Cheers mate yea there’s been some feedback sent over regarding dual wield arms will defo look into it. Never seen a warrior using it tbh but also rarely take warriors to tier 7 raids lol😂

Question for fellow Warriors. Do I bother getting soft-capping expertise @ 26 or should I just try to maximize my dps output during this phase?

The rage you get is normalised, a 2h or 2x1handers gives very similar rage. Unless it crits ofc.
