The biggest takeaway I got from this video was the position of the arms. I noticed in the underwater demo, your arms were only slightly bent, like you were trying to do a bicep curl but stopped quarter-way during the flip and you extended the elbows back into streamline. I tried this in my swim workout and my flip turns were smooth and quick! Thanks, Coach Mandy!
I’m at ready to add flip turns to my swim routine but having trouble with water in the sinuses. I imagine blowing air out through my nose is the correct technique but that’s not working for me. Any advice?
Interesting. Eyes sighting the wall, arms by the side, dip head down under. My biggest fear is that water would invade even when I exhale during the process……
