Near Antigua, in Guatemala, there is an active Volcano named Fuego. I took a tour with a company called Wicho & Charlies, and hiked the sister volcano, Acatenango. The weather was cloudy, cold, and it was one of the most difficult things I've ever done in my life.
The trip cost $65 usd, plus gear rental, extra for the Fuego hike, and the tip. In total I spent about $100, and it was definitely worth it. I highly recommend the company I chose as they are well experienced and prepared for this trek.

Hi Tony, amazing hike, thanks for sharing your experience. I'm wondering when you did the climb? Was it when you posted your video in June 2021?

I did see it explode once when the clouds cleared. I just couldn't get it on film fast enough.

During the tour, do they have a place to store your luggage?
