- Napoli sails into World of Warships Legends as the first Italian Legendary ship, she is a large cruiser, and falls somewhere in between a Super cruiser and a Heavy Cruiser with 254mm guns. She comes with an exhaust smoke generator, heals and cat fighter but no radar or sonar leaving her somewhat reliant on her team. Napoli has no SAP main guns but does have SAP secondary batteries that help her in a brawl. While having low DPM and lackluster AA, she is an absolute tank and can take a beating from enemy ships, making her a great agile damage sponge. Curious how to set up and play your Napoli? Yeah she's pretty forgiving tbh. I completely screwed up a turn in this vid, took a smack from Pommern. Napoli just shrugged it off 😆
Can't wait to get my hands on this, Amalfi is one of my favorite cruisers so this ship will be fun
Noticeably bigger and more sluggish than Amalfi, but still great in this role!
I have been putting off Italian cruisers, with the bureau boost for Amalfi and Zara this will give me some rudder time to learn!

Been waiting months for a legendary Italian, was hoping for venezia . A surprise to be sure but a welcome one.
I wanted Venezia too, but hey this will do for now
Ngl i can't wait to get my hands on this one, i wanted Venezia but i like ships that stands out from the others, seems pretty fun, but i'm pretty sure this is the kind of ships that most of the community will say it sucks 😂

Stalingrad is not easy to play imo. No HE and yamatos overmatch if you just try to bow tank like a noob. Plus the extended fire duration time. it’s a flanker ship where you don’t want to get focused and you use your speed and armor at distance to your advantage
An absolute shame that Napoli lost its secondary range as always with this version of the game lmao, Always the Pick one build and cant do anything else

Would you recommend the hit and run tactic on all Italian's? I'm on Trento right now and am struggling to perform like I do with IJN and US cruiser lines. There is something there I'm just not clicking with.
It’s not you, I have the same problem. I have given up playing the Trento. It’s reload is too long for an HE spammer and it’s gets cit’d like nothing else.
I see no upside to it when other cruisers of the same tier are better.
Tbh Trento was so long ago, I'd have to look at the armor scheme again to see where to go with her. I think she has a strong belt, like most of the line. So tbh I think you could play her similarly.
Drop the HE immediately for SAP tho. The HE sucks. It's not an HE spamming cruiser. Learn to use SAP and this whole line gets 100× better
@@DerkaGames yeah I'm fairly confident with my SAP skills. It's just surviving. I know it doesn't help that she is at tier 5, the strongest BB tier in the game imo.
@@FuzzyMuffin1 yeah you right....tier 5 is absolutely the worst tier to play cruisers imo. No mod slots for extra rudder, or reload. Insane battleships like you say, and no heals

Shame that WG is so against SAP. Literally ruined the Italian tech tree til recently, and now ruins the legendary tier ship the same way by taking away SAP.
There's another legendary cruiser that will have SAP mains, its called Venezia. It will come to our game eventually

The SAP reload penalty on the tech tree cruisers is incredibly stupid since on PC their lenghty reload and meh accuracy is their primary balance factor.
Legends added these ship into the game with those stats without the SAP and then subsequently gave even more of a penalty to the SAP, so yeah saying that they hate SAP would definitely not be an understatement.
I will say however that Napoli doesn't have SAP for the main guns either since her secondary SAP is her main gimmick, but we instead get a lot better accuracy on the main guns and tbh I prefer consistent gun accuracy over secondaries that are only good in a few rare occasions while gun accuracy is always good to have.
