  • I updated my yard to include mulch pathways. Over 20 years ago, I told my neighbor that I wanted paths and flowers in my back yard. I finally got around to making some mulch pathways. Watch the follow up video from September of same year: • Making Mulch Pathways ...

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it! The September 2023 video of the pathways includes hummingbirds, and views of some of Cosmos wildflowers that grew to over 7 feet tall.

Thank you, MayBeeBuzzy! I have not seen the word, "yarden" before. I love that. Heavenly is a good description of how it makes me feel. It's all a gift from God.

WOW! That's a lot of hard work. I have five different paths that run through my back garden that is on a slope. Over the years, as the mulch breaks down the weeds love to grow in it. My mulch also washes away with every downpour we get. Seems I am forever raking it back into place. I put in a stone dry bed down the slope and tried to direct the water in such a way it will run under the bridge my husband and son-in-law built for me. Gardening is hard, but the beauty and effort is also enjoyable. I hope you will consider putting a mass of daffodil bulbs this fall. I don't bother with tulips as the squirrels unearth them and eat them. They don't seem to like daffie bulbs however. YAY! Hope your growing season is a great one!

Thank you, Cami! My wife's maiden name is Richardson. She's from Richmond, Indiana. I like spring flowers like daffodils. I do need to plant some.
