How fridgin NEAT!!! I really love this! To the point the "like" button doesn't accurately describe how i feel! It should be a heart button!! Honestly the cells actually give it a more natural feel to me. I used to sell jewelry and most natural gemstones have inclusions. I always appreciated them because they made them all unique. This is my favorite geode from you, hands down!!!

Hi from Oregon, love your geodes. I too am a crystal, sparkly shiny stuff lover. You may already be aware of this tidbit but just in case you’re not, I thought I would share this with you. I’m sure in a city as large as Detroit you can find stores dedicated to glass…stained, fused, blown etc. These stores carry frit this is crushed glass in any color imaginable. It comes in coarse, medium, fine and powder. It’s usually sold by the jar. Some stores will sell by the ounce. Not horribly expensive and very user friendly. Happy painting and creating. Thank you for sharing.

DUDE!! That’s spectacular!! Not my colors at all but I love it. I was not expecting the ending when drilled out the middle. I love using the tape around the edge, it helps keep paint from sliding off before you want it to, it's also very relaxing to see the cascade over the edge when you do Remove it. I like the natural theme as well totally different from the bright colors I love so much. It looks fantastic 😍

I would try this again without the red, go easy on the orange, but use more hues of brown colors to make a smoky quartz color palate.

Looks great, the inside went muddy...keep the bold rings and move the board around a little each direction....it helped mine turn out better.

Since you're avoiding perfect round lines, since you've asked for suggestions: have you though about priming a slice of wood? There are often weirdly shaped pieces where the branches meet at the fork. Even if you don't have woodwork tools with you in Detroit, you probably have a friend who does. A bit of primer, and Johny Morrison of JMO Painting will have another masterpiece.
I love polished sliced agate and rough geodes, used to have several lovely pieces before Hurricane Sandy. I can really appreciate the beauty in the pieces you've been creating and am tempted to smash a geode open to see whether I can find inspiration for any kind of recreation. We have a slice of sandstone over our fireplace - my favorite housewarming gift.

I'm sorry if you answer this a lot-- this is the first time you've popped in my feed-- do you use bigger canvases ever? If so, does it teeter on your spinner?
I have in the past, sometimes I need to use a wooden canvas upside down so I can tape that to my spinner and then tape the canvas to the wooden canvas. I had to do something similar for this video - th-cam.com/video/zkm6r2AH3V0/w-d-xo.html
