My dream car. Hope to own a 6MT one someday that has been daily driven to hell and back though I don't blame anyone who does that.
I have a 2015, 141k miles. I dread the mileage but it’s an LS why not just build that block again? ☝️
@@shomariblack5558 the guys in Australia built them really well along with the G8s. Of course the interior is gonna be typical GM plastic and leather but since the G8, GTO, and SS are owned by some of the most passionate enthusiasts I think you'll find most in good condition exterior and interior wise. Maybe some wear n tear inside from all the burnouts but nothing that can't be swapped.

I own a ‘16 6mt red hot 2. Its hard not to get on her. Its fun to see the expression on peoples faces when you open the valves and get on the gas. Just one light ago it seemed like a tamed family sedan.

Yeah it was badass, I will ask him about the mag ride. I’m not the owner, just did the video but it felt extremely smooth as a passenger and we went down both some rough roads and the highway.

What cam did you go with? And what exhaust system is this? I’m going with 2017 bi-modal muffs on my 2015. I was thinking to go with Works stainless long tube headers.

I just picked up a stock 17 with 10,000 miles. How is the sound inside the car with the windows up? I wanna hear the exhaust but I also want to hear the radio or a phone call when I need to. Right now my exhaust is too quiet for me in performance mode.
Congrats on the purchase! With the windows up at normal throttle the exhaust is quiet and 100% daily driveable from what I heard when we were cruising around. Maybe start with the mufflers and if that’s not loud enough, do the longtube headers.
@@AlexGray Done and done. Solo performance "mufflers" installed. The car sounds fantastic now and I can hear the radio but higher in the rpms I can hear the sweet sound of LS3.
How much did you pay for one in this day and age?

The guy who makes these cams doesn’t go by stages but it would be equivalent to a stage 3

Stock clutch? Wouldn't handle the instant torque maybe

Mines does this too. Gotta go 3.45 or 3.91 even. 3.27 trips out sometimes. Or try to have your diff serviced and see what it does.

Holdens were only in Australia, in the US they are badged as a Chevy SS
@@AlexGray so you have to make a transport for the holden ss in order to get it in the states while US does have a ripoff version of it ?
@@joshuag2731 They are the exact same thing, just badged differently. So this one for example is a Chevy SS but the owner put the Holden badges on it instead. And from some comments I’ve seen, the Holden owners in Australia will sometimes put the Chevy badges on. Just to be different and stand out from the others.
