Mega Beedrill is the pinnacle of Mega evolution. Turns an absolute meme of a Pokémon into a Harbinger of DEATH.
It’s the thing we need from more megas! Giving them to pokemon that need a boost to make them able to have a competitive niche.
Sadly it’s 4x weak against the most popular and arguably best move in single battles: stealth rock

It makes me really happy to see Golispod, one of my favorite pokemon of all time, being one of the best pokemon in this game.
It could've won a world championship in VGC.
Not one of, the top 1 Pokemon by far. Currently running this game and I can't tell you how many fights this thing just trivializes.

Golisopod is da GOAT! By far one of the coolest bug types imo... He saved my bacon fighting against Ultra Necrozma back in USUM.
Pretty interesting how bug types become immensely powerful in run and bun but usually strong types like Steel aren’t as valuable

Beedrill is definitely crazy but I honestly prefer the vivillion on 104 just because it makes the early game so much easier. But also could be because I suck and have not gotten a chance to actually use mega Beedrill yet lol
Some flannery trainers are also trivialized by powder lol

It’s also worth talking about Sizzlipede and Masquerain, both of which are huge for the early game, Surskit with one candy can all but carry you through brawly

Bro, decided to try this nuzlocke too, 1st run picked chimchar, rival caught me off guard knowing water gun, 2nd run picked piplup absorb is weak so it should work right? LMAO NO, 3rd one picked turtwig beat the rival, lost to the 2 fucking Magikarps on the beach just now bro bounce caught me off guard, hydro pump made my jaw drop like I GET PASS THE FIRST RIVAL FIGHT JUST TO LOSE TO FUCKING MAGIKARPS 😭😭😭 bro run and bun is fucking unhinged 😭
Yeah nuzlocking this with no docs and calcs is just a waste of time if you want to get anywhere in this game, teams and sets are crazy in this one

Why's Kleavor not good? I'm not a nuzlocke player so it seems odd something with that much attack and a good signature move wouldn't work well in a hack like this.
I really wish it was good!!! It doesn't get Rock Slide though so it's damage is REALLY inconsistent.

I really liked the video, I've heard so much about mega beedrill but mostly just watch see pchal daily so I never get to see why. You do a good informational video and I'd love to see more. As an aside please don't hyper zoom in on sprites it hurts my eyes

Thank you! I haven't stolen leftovers before but essentially you need to have one of Role Play, Skill Swap, or Trace to steal Hoopa's Magician Ability.

The title should be "How Pokemon Run & Bun Makes Mega Beedril and Galisopod OP" because that's what the video is actually about. It dows not explain how the romhack buffs the bug type as a whole regardless of which Pokemon specifically has the type.
How do they buff Bugs?

Real title how pokemon run and bun makes beedril and golasepod op rest is still dog.
This isn’t even true considering early game bugs are INCREDIBLY good. Yanma can evolve pre brawly, vivillon smurfs early game with its power and speed then transforms into a really good doubles supporting option with protect and an immunity, centiskorch is incredibly overstatted for wattson split, araquanid can set webs and does a surprising amount of dmg because of water bubble, masquerain goat on brawly, etc. This is honestly a testament to how well made run and buns design is tbh because most mons have some sort of use in some part of the game. (except skitty and kleavor)
