I know this does not apply here because these games are a LOT harder than vanilla games, but i think its kinda sad that nuzlocking turned from a way to feel a connection to your pokemon and have fights that matter into ... sorting pokemon into garbage and viable and ramming your head into the wall 150 times, hyper optimizing everything. Getting a "bad" pokemon should not be reset worthy, it should be viable even if it needs a different teamcomp
but yeah that kind of balance is hard to achieve from a dev standpoint i think
Agreed, when I play I don't reset on wipe. The game is only over when my box is empty. Nuzlockes are most fun when you see a whacky line with underused mons.

The Aqua Grunt Mareanie is Merciless so it will always crit if you're poisoned. So you weren't unlucky with your geodude. 9:41

Surprised it isn’t mentioned that like 2/3 of the Bugs get Bug Bite, which with a decent Attack IV OHKO the Carvanha, some even outspeeding if they have good a enough Speed IV (I simply never get crit)

Hey Squerk, i was wondering how you properly calc double battles in this game? Like do you have to just calc the Battles as single in Smogon and then hope you get it right or is there a trick to it?

most people I see count all of granite cave as one encounter, but your run your rules !

I fished 104 my first attempt without doing any research, i thought sheer force krabby was pretty good.
Krabby is solid of course but all of the grass encounters are much better

How do i beat brawly with no togedemaru or tirtouga, natu is my only stab super effective pokemon, modest stufful is my only fighting type
Isnt delaying shinx to 21 mean that it wont become a luxio vs brawly

Yes actually it was! I believe it lost access to ice shard for Roxanne
Btw how does one evolve seadra and rhydon?
Seadra with a Dragon Scale which is 5% off Horsea (20% with compound eyes) and Rhydon with a Protector which I thiiiiink you can buy in Fallarbor?
