When I was a teenager I had an injury to my knee that seems to weaken my knee cartilage. At age 60, I started feeling pain in my knee when I walk. I started taking glucosamine supplement, later the manufacturer added Chondroitin, then MSM, the latest version also added Hyaluronic acid. I noticed improvement (no knee pain) starting with the version containing Chondroitin. I have been taking this supplement on and off for six years. There are weeks or months that I forgot to take the supplement, then I felt frictions in my knee when I walk (no pain yet). That is my signal to resume taking the supplement before the frictions turn into pain, reliably, my knee joint felt much smoother a few weeks after resuming the supplements. In my case, it definitely works. It is definitely not placebo.
@vmx0000 , I understand exactly what you are saying bcoz @71yrs, I am battling the same problem. When my Knees start to graunche, I quickly restart my supplement regime again!
@vmx0000 what is ridiculous is that you felt knee pain in Yr 60s while people struggle with before 30 that shows that these generations need to eat natural food
A good way to learn about this is if you have a dog with joint problems. Dogs have no placebo. Anyway, my dog had bad hip problems, the Dr. recommended an invasive surgery. I chose to treat with glucosamine mainly. This was at age 5… the dog lived until 16. ❤
I take this glucosamine chondroitin for almost 3 months.. nothing happens, my knees still hurts.. then i take fish oil capsules and it did reduce my knee pains, i am planning to add vitamin D3 supplements to help the fish oil capsules for my knees
hi Doc, by now am suffering painful knee, i should cry just to take away pain,i order glocosamine chondroitin i take the medicine now without doctors prescription just order thru online becausemyfriend recommended this...Doc i like your video it's so clear
I stated taking with addition of MSM , colleges , vitamin C and turmeric, it has reduced my pain in a week. All what added help the absorption and they work well together
I've been taking these supplements for 15 years and I don't know a better remedy than these ones! Medicin didn't move even for one step ahead in the treatment of osteoartritis of knees with progressive tear of menisci and cartilage. My cartlage was damaged 15 years go.

@@grattanvaz1614 If you were a scientist you'd know that we don't prove negatives. "Prove to me that you have not read any book by Tolstoi". It's absurd.
@@grattanvaz1614 (chat GPT) The statement "negatives can't be proven" is often linked to the philosophical and logical principle that it's difficult or impossible to prove a universal negative. This principle is especially relevant in empirical sciences and everyday reasoning. Here's why: 1. **Infinite Verification**: Proving a negative often requires demonstrating the absence of something in all possible circumstances or locations. For instance, proving "there are no black swans" would have required checking every possible location where a black swan might exist, which is practically impossible. 2. **Lack of Evidence is Not Evidence of Lack**: Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. Just because we haven't found something doesn't prove it doesn't exist. 3. **Open-Ended Nature of Inquiry**: In science and logical inquiry, knowledge is always open to revision based on new evidence. So, even if we haven't found something so far, it doesn't mean we won't find it in the future. However, this principle has limits and is context-dependent: - In mathematics or formal logic, some negatives can be proven. For example, one can prove that there is no largest prime number. - In empirical contexts, some specific negatives can be proven within reasonable limits, especially when dealing with a constrained set of possibilities. In sum, the difficulty in proving negatives generally arises from the practical limitations of verifying an absence in every possible scenario and the open-ended nature of empirical inquiry.
Yes, they work. It takes a while. Took me 6 weeks but now I’m pain free.

Sometimes I think these supplements work for some people but not others.(different body chemistry)
And Sometimes they're merely a "Placebo".

Hello, can you name a product that rebuilds vertebral cartilage?
I cannot, unfortunately
Take some collagen. Every day. Natural supplements take a while to work.
Cartilage cannot regrow, once it has disappeared!
Those supplements help me good against stif and pain in my joints but I also use curcumin and nettle thee, I am almost free from pain en stifness
