Many F pilots prefer Michelin over Pirelli, just like me. I live in Northern Germany, Pirelli (summer) tires just don't work well here. The grip isn't as good as with Michelins, they need constantly warm weather conditions to reach their top grip level. Many years ago I've had an Aston Martin Vanquish S which came with Yokohama tires (made for the Vanquish especially). They were horrible, a club member told me about the Michelin Pilot Sport and at the end it felt like a completely different car. So much better. As far as I know you can order your Ferrari with either Pirelli or Michelin tires, may depend on the model. My GTC4 changed from Pirelli to Michelin by the first owner.
