Take a black permanent sharpie and fill in the letters and the emblem on the center caps. After the third application they will look like new! I have the very same car as this and same color with 125000.00 miles and it still runs, drives, rides and looks like new!! LOVE my Town Car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I am adding a third comment to this video. Evertime I see how beautiful these cars are, I am reminded of just how awful the roads are in Boston, etc.
I drive my 97 Town Car to work every day and find myself cursing over and over again each time I hit a rough patch or pothole. That includes Route 93 ( The Expressway). God help me. That's what is keeping me from getting a car like that. I have a stack of service records for my car that would choke a dinosaur. Front-end work over and over.

I had one of those actuator motors go bad in my Lexus (3.5 years old and one of the only unscheduled maintenance issues I ever had in 10 yrs of owning them).
Thank goodness it was under warranty. My service advisor said that would have been $3-4k otherwise, kudos to you for going above and beyond.

Beautiful! You and Nick need to do a video on the dashboard out blend door replacements. I've done this before on a 2006 Town Car, where I unbolt the entire dashboard and steering column and remove it all as an entire assembly rather than disassembling the dash into all of its pieces. "Guy really messed up his van - must have been looking at this Lincoln." Lol.
Yes, just did the same blend door motor on my '06. Seems very common for that one to go out on the 06's in particular.
Yes, I've also had problems with my '06 Cr Vc LX.....
I had to replace the blendor motor on my 2006 LTC Signature Ltd. Wasn’t getting heat out on the floor … $$$$ heavy cost ! but it runs fabulous .. just turned 89,000 miles on it .
I had a two tone G4 with a bottom G3 04 Ultimate. Great paint.

I have been following you for years before Papa Bear's birthday when you gave him that new the new world Cadillac and you got rid of the black one which was for 5995 it was selling that one for I should have bought it then when I had the money after two cardiogenic shock heart attacks now all I could do was just look at what you have and unfortunately everything is out of my league I'm looking at Cadillacs under $10,000 and in the last I don't know three or four years Everything Has Changed keep up the good work God bless to you and your family take care brother

That was crazy timing with the van crash 😮. I had the same thing happen this past weekend. Was at a car show/swap meet in PA, and Boom 💥 right in front of the show an accident happened. Everyone was OK except the vehicles. The noise of the crash was scary ! Good luck with the sale

Another great car, I wish that I could buy one from you. My wife's Lincoln has 173,000 but it is not as clean as the ones you have. it runs great, for me it is just too low, & is hard to get in & out. her car is a signature L. It is a 2005, still like my 49 Caddie. One day I will drive by you & let you drive my Caddie, then I think that you will like it the same as the Lincoln. say Hi to Papa Bear. your friend Bob 49 Cadillac.
That's my color........but wow, was I surprised to see the light gray interior. I don't know how I feel about it lol. It's beautiful, so I guess I'd get used to it? You usually cover all of the things you fix and often common problems. But i have to ask about the backup sensor. Haven't heard you say either way on this one or a few others of late. Maybe I missed it. I have that message "disabled" when I put it in reverse, so I know the part in the rear bumper needs to be replaced. And the infamous blend doors. I get a code 1263. It all works but you don't get the air force through the front vents on mine. Unless you put it on defrost or front vent/floor. I'm hoping mine only needs the serviceable ones since I get the top/bottom defrost/heat just fine but like you said, do all of them when you do one or two. And I'm real happy with those Travel Star tires. They ride better than the Michelin's that were on the car when I bought it. Glad to see them faithfully used here again. Someone will get a wonderful car here and if you haven't owned one of these, you'll be glad you did!
Always wondered why they cheapened the drivers floor mat...years before the unintended acceleration that Toyota blamed floor mats on.

there is nothing made like older Lincolns and Cadillacs. We currently have a 93 Coupe de ville, with 22000 miles, and a 14 CTS coupe....ill never buy the new crap...hard seats, hard ride, usually an ugly suv with a wheezy 4 cylinder engine, touch screens and crap that breaks....not interested..and over $50k new....

We've had Cadillacs mostly. Had one 2006 Town Car. I was a beautiful car. The only thing that set apart the Town Car from the DeVille/DTS was the turning radius. Do the Town Cars ride nicely? Yes. Are they quiet? Yes. But, personally, overall, the Cadillacs rule. Stay away from the Northstar engines, they leak oil and are just not solid. The engine in the Lincoln was solid. The interior of the Lincoln was sad and of poor quality. Currently, I have a 2016 Cadillac XTS Premium. I love it minus the CUE system, it royally sucks. Otherwise, it's super quiet, rides nice, has an outstanding sound system, gets decent gas mileage and is mostly reliable.

The rubber deteriorates with time, not milage.
@@joeblow4888 I don't know about the deterioration aspect due to time but my 2002 with 59,000 miles has it's original bags and they appear perfectly intact upon inspection. Anthony knows his Town Cars but I have always felt that he goes a little overboard. He may have the resources to make these improvements but lots of folks don't have the funds to do things to their Town Cars that are not iminent problems. In other words"if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Just my humble opinion.
Depends on the climate and conditions the car is exposed to. 3 of my Town Cars still have original bags. 3 don't. There's no specific rule
