Y'all should do a home run derby where you have to spin the wheel of different bats to determine each rounds bat for each one of you, and who ever hit the most in 10 swings wins

Another point, you can probably grow 300,000 worth of bamboo bats in the time it takes to grow any single decent solid wood bat, not important to most but a nice to know.

I swing a bamboo bat whenever I can, I can confirm everything they’re saying. Very tiny sweet spot, if you miss it, no pop at all. Get it close to your hands and the vibrations are terrible. I got mine for $50 solely for longevity; it’s never cracked after 5 years. As a bonus, the lack of pop motivates me to strength train.

Franklin sting-stop palm batting gloves, my guy. i swing with a 50 dollar wood Louisville Sluggers in cages all the time. it's been 30 years since i switched and i kinda forgot why. Now i remember.
These things are 25 bucks, or so, too. hell yeah
The thing about batting gloves is you want them super tight. if it fits your fingers, hand and you can't quite strap it, that is good. you don't want friction, you'll get blisters and it will suck for a month to swing. they won't last as long this way, but these Franklins have always been much cheaper than other gloves that aren't even smart enough to put pads in (ask your Catcher about this!) It just makes sense on every level
