    hello, some customs may have question about the CC/CV output mode, for example, when they want to connect a load with the current he needs, the device is CV output, for the output mode, it is decided by the load and its status, and the load itself choose the CC or CV mode. we use a battery to explian how it changes
    our device use CC/CV mode to charge the battery, when the battery is low power,it will use CC mode to charge the battery, and when the battery voltage reaches the peak voltage, it will turn to CV mode, the charging current will decrease and when it does not decrease, it can be considered to finish the charging
    if you have question, please leave a message

    what's the difference between using the battery charging terminal and mode versus using the regular red terminal and setting a current limit? Is it just the battery temperature monitoring?

      the green terminal has reverse protection, cut off current and temperature setting

    Hey! I own 2 of your PSUs. A beefy 20A 50V buck and a versatile 5A/50V boost/buck.
    I use the boost/buck to run all my 12V and USB powered devices from a solar charged battery.
    Tonight (winter) the battery ran out of juice.
    So I connected the other one to the solar battery set to 12V, 3Amps. It can stay on to simply "support" the battery should it get too low. I even intend to add a smart switches so the PSU can be powered down when the battery is fine.

      thank you for your support, for our devices, as long as you use them in the normal input and output range, and no connection mistake, there is no problem for long time work, if you meet any problems when using them, just contact us

    Hello RD Tech! I purchased RD6024W with S800 and 1200W PSU and I noticed when charging Fiamm AGM 95Ah battery in constant current mode the voltage shown on RD screen was 13.8V whereas the voltage on AGM battery contacts measured by UNI-Trend UT89-X multimeter showed 13.37 at the same time thus deviation was more than 0.4V!. But then after RD entered costant voltage at 14.4V there was a very little deviation (only about 0.01V). So main question why are those voltage numbers inaccurate on the RD module while CC charging mode and should I then adjust V-SET to 14.4 + 0.4 (deviation from multimeter measurements) ?

    What is the best RD power supply to buy for charging a 12V car battery ? Best to have one that can do pulse or frequency charging to desulfate the plates.

    • @rdtech9153
      @rdtech9153  ปีที่แล้ว

      hello, it depends on the battery type and capacity to choose the RD power supply, for RD power supply, the main difference is the output current range, but for do pulse or frequency charging to desulfate the plates, our power supply cannot do that

    How i can force CV mode ? 🤔

    • @rdtech9153
      @rdtech9153  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      hello, for the output mode, it is decided by the load type and status, for example you set 30V 2A to a 10ohm resistor, it is CC mode, the output is 2A and voltage=2A*10ohm=20V, it cannot be CV mode, and for battery charging, it is CC-CV mode, when the charging voltage reaches the peak voltage, it will turn to CV mode

    What is the difference between green terminal and red terminal? Does charging batteries with red terminal can damage module? Is green terminal protected by some diode or MOSFET to prevent reverse voltage/current and burning Riden module?

    • @rdtech9153
      @rdtech9153  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      you can use the red terminal to charge battery too but if you connect the battery in the wrong way and you turn on the output, the fuse will be burnt immediately, if you use green terminal to charge battery, you can only get output when it is connected in the right way
