Flights are 2 to 2.5x more than last year for same flight , going to be the biggest obstacle to overcome.
Correct flights are a total rip off at present!

@@johnswift1736 my flight doubled in one year, I take same flight every year from U.S. to Thailand. I can see a 30% increase but a 100% increase ......like wtf , this is why Thailand wants to attract more people with money as opposed to back packers , they knew what lay ahead. Problem is there are many small businesses in Thailand who service the back pack industry, these people are hurting more than most.
I have a family and have lived in Phattalung south Thailand for many year, it is nice to see good times returning back to Thailand

I visited Phuket almost 20 years ago, pleased I went there before it got so built up. It was beautiful with plenty of unspoilt beaches and little towns. Would love to return to Thailand someday and explore more places off the tourist routes. Great insight into Phuket as it is now 👍
Same as Pattaya. Before mass tourist turned it to what it is now. It was pleasant to walk around and you can find a nice quiet spot on the beach.
Well now everyone will fleece you starting with the taxi and grab drivers .......a 400 baht cab fare 2 miles from airport is now 1000 baht and up and up 👆

I am glad I was able to travel to Phuket Thailand last year under the Sandbox Initiative prior to the rush of tourist back to Thailand. But, it is great to see tourism returning. Great for business, the people and the country. I hope to come visit sometime in 2023.

I saw your video from beginning, your situation during Covid. Myself was there in February, the beach was not so packed. I am happy to see more tourists coming , and it means it is good for your business too.

So pleased for you guys, been with you from the word go, three years ago after returning from Thailand in January 2020 , always knew it would bounce back , was just hoping you could ride the storm and you have. Would have popped in last January but the day we were leaving Kamala for Kata I had the fight with a Barracuda and ended up in Phuket
town for six days instead to be near
the hospital, but we’re out to Phuket arriving Xmas day spending 3 weeks on Phuket in Patong, Kamala then Kata on 8th January for a week before we fly up to Koh Chang so see you then definitely 😂, the good times are here guys 👍🍺

So glad to see the place humming again. Was there 4mths back and place was a virtual ghost town. Lucky for me, found beautiful hotel $20pn , would normally be $80-100. That will never happen again. Stopped in for breakfast at Maybelle's, only a few customers. So glad for you guys it's turned around and didn't have to go back UK. May 23 be a boomer for U
Ok will look out for that drink! Was on Soi Spider-Man on Saturday night & it was packed! Then on Kata beach Sunday morning & again, packed! So good to see businesses full & the cash rolling in 💵

We left Thailand in early October and returned in late November.....what a difference. The locals beside our rental in Chiang Mai told me yesterday that they have never seen so many tourists here. If I could find a CRF300, I'd be out of town exploring, but there are no rental motorbikes or motorcycles anywhere in town.
We are visiting in July! Super excited. I’ve never been anywhere. Lol.
I do know that Bali just made a couple of changes which might direct tourists to Thailand instead of Bali. Last month Bali changed a Expat tourist law where expats need to now have a very high amount of money in the bank, I believe something like $150,000-$200,000 which they can’t spend. It’s called something like Second Home expat law to live in Bali as a retiree. Secondly, they just changed the law that anyone in Bali cannot live with someone unless they are married. Anyone can turn you in and you will go to jail.
That law doesn't come into effect for another 3 years. I'm sure I also read that the Indonesian government won't be targeting unmarried tourist couples.
What do you do with the coconut when you finish the drink?.. put in bin or on floor for wildlife?..

G'Day Mate after watching your channel from the start of the cafe I am now living in Thailand up past Bangkok out near SaiNoi My mum and Sister are coming to visit me and my Faince for 2 weeks the last 5 days we will be spending in Phuket and will be coming to enjoy a meal at your cafe you two have done a fantasic job opening the cafe at the time you did with the pamdamic is great to see all the people coming back to Thailand I hope it gives you a lot of vistors to the cafe cant wait to meet you both till then take care Mate and stay safe.
