Colts play wasn't a fake punt. They were trying to get the Patriots confused with personnel changes and were not supposed to snap ball. But a miscommunication led to it getting snapped.

They weren’t supposed to snap the football but the person that was the long snapper was the one practicing this at practice but he wasnt at the game so someone else did it but wasnt told not to snap it.
