Thank you so much for this video! I just got my distress oxide inks yesterday, and one of the experiments that I was going to do was trying to make it look like rust. You've done all that work for me!
Thanks for sharing,,,,there are so many techniques those freaking awesome inks can do. I learn something new everyday and I learned how to make rest paper today.
try using a paintbrush to spread out the ink once sprayed with water - you'll get the little specks/dots of color if all you want is speckles. :) too cool. love love love love love how this came out. :)
Love these cards! What paper did you use? I have heard it makes a big difference. Between watercolor paper, bristol paper and cardstock paper I have become very confused! I just can't figure out which one to buy! Thank you for the tutorial!
Melissa Edwards i have used cold pressed watercolor paper 140lb here, but i have also had success with regular smooth cardstock that was not as heavy maybe 90lbish. i think you can try with any type. the important part is to dry between layers 😀 thanks for watching.
sooooooo pretty! thank you 🌸
Thank you! 😊
Wow! This really does look like rust. Great job.
