How To Control Your Emotions BEFORE They Destroy Your Life

  • Learn how to control your emotions by following 3 simple but powerful tips to help you reach a state of full emotional maturity. I’ll also go beyond psychology and share a spiritual perspective on emotions to help you understand them on a deeper level.
Do you struggle to control your emotions, especially the negative ones like fear, anger, or jealousy? If so, this video is for you! You’ll learn how to shift the way you look at emotions and I’ll share the 3 levels of emotional maturity so you know right away what level you’re at and what you can do to shift to the highest level of all: “emotional mastery”.
The truth is: emotions are very powerful and they can sometimes be destructive if we’re not emotionally mature enough to know how to work with them.
    I’m sure you’ve been there:
You have a fight with your partner and say something really hurtful without thinking.
You react in anger at your child because they spilled their food or made a mess on the floor.
You lash out at a co-worker because you were having a bad day and they just happened to say something you didn’t like.
I could go on but you get the point. We’ve all been there: letting our emotions control our behavior. And we’ve sometimes hurt the people around us as a result of our emotional immaturity.
    But that ends today!
I shot this video to help you master your emotions and live with more peace and joy. From this day forward, your emotions will no longer control you. :)

Christina, this...this worked. I struggled with emotional dysregulation since my late teens and it’s caused a lot of damage. But with your counsel, I’ve successfully been able to release my emotions :’)
I’ve been able to label my emotions, but I was a “zig-zagger.” You helped me realize that it was due to the feeling of emotions feeling like they were literally “sticking” to my body-to my skin even.
It felt like betrayal to acknowledge the feelings and try to move on, because the somatic reaction was still sounding alarm bells.
But by following your advice...I had my first ever experience of getting the emotion to “lift off” my body! On command!!!

What really sends me into a a downward spiral is when I cant control the negative emotions even though I know they are fear based and irrational. And then the thought that I am putting this vibration out into the universe and I am going to attract it somehow.

Sometimes it isn't just that old wounds are being triggered that makes me zigzag, it's dealing with certain people who catch me off guard with gaslighting when it's least expected. It's a lot easier to get an emotional reaction out of me when I'm situationally vulnerable, and also when I'm imbalanced physically, whether it's hormones or blood sugar or what have you. I know this because introspection is one of the only things I've been able to do as far as influencing the trajectory of my life is concerned. So the other energy that's meant to be put into other things that I can't do right now carries over to extra introspection, and you can bet that means I figure out why I've reacted emotionally when emotional mastery is my goal. I've been doing that for years, but I had no idea that I could transmute energy before I found your channel. It's helpful and exciting for sure, but it does little in the pursuit of freedom from oppression. Generally charity is the best weapon against that.

I felt anxiety the other day, because of all the lies society has told me, I do not feel safe, I would like to know the truth, I felt this pain in my throat, I did what you told us to do, bring it to my heart, then, anxiety was over but I felt sorrow, but I visualized my higher self telling me she loved me, that I could not do anything, and sorrow went away too. Thank you so much.

Christina you’re a beautiful and generous soul for sharing this vital and valuable information. This explains so much. I’m sure many of us have taken the effort to evolve past the rookie stage and maybe even the zig-zag stage. Hopefully we can now find ourelves living mostly in the master stage of emotional awareness. Seems like it’s an ongoing challenge sometimes. To be ever-vigilant and aware is such a wonderful and rewarding goal. You’re right... feeling anger is ok but projecting it towards others is not.

I am discovering this channel since a few weeks now and each time an old video pops up in my recommendation list I know and see it is relevant to watch it. I feel trust in this process. I am currently in an emotional state where I feel I need and want to work with it, regulate it, feel it. Very old wound that makes me zigzag a lot in life. More than ever before I feel a call to evolve. Because it is blocking me otherwise to move forward. I am very grateful for the ways Christina explains things. And I got one big tip from this. Use my heart to alchemize while feeling these emotions. I know the capacity of my heart has grown, so I will try it every time. Relax, breathe, feel it. Thanks a lot. Blessings to everyone.

What I love about emotional mastery is a choice. I do know that to use emotions, even the strong ones, can be a wonderful catalyst in many types of situations. But it is necessary to know your energy levels, your ability to understand human nature, to understand that a storm is a storm :) what / if you want to invest and if and how you need to regenerate afterwards 🙏🏻 Thank you :)

At first I thought you were going to tell us to suppress or deny our emotions - thankfully that isn't the case! Totally agree that you should go within & ask questions about your emotions, when we are triggered it is almost always from a core wound in childhood - so becoming aware of the root wound & validating the inner child is key for integrating & healing x

    Thanks, Christina
Every single video I watch is a confirmation of my journey.
Almost the only situation that makes me zig zag is dealing with my two younger children. Even though I know they are my masters, and that I need to look on the situations with them what’s bothering me about myself, It’s really difficult at times to be tolerant. I’m constantly thinking about that. Have you written about how to keep going on with the spiritual journey when dealing with difficult situations. My children have special needs, and the daily challenges drain my energy.
I wish I could found you before. But then I think that God’s timing is perfect. Because before I wouldn’t accept certain knowledge. I wasn’t ready.
I’m really proud of myself on behalf of my general progress. But I need help to surpass the stress of being a MOTHER of very special children.
    Again, THANKS for everything.
PD. English is not my native language. Excuse misspelling or vocabulary mistakes.

I think I am most of the time on the zig-zagger stage, but sometimes I am surprised with myself when in certain rare challenging circumstances I do not get triggered and remain calm and respond with kindness. And I feel so good when this happen. Yeah!
I like the term "afflictive" emotions, to classify those types of emotions that may be extremely destructive if we leave them unwatched and act out from them, like for instance: anger, rage etc...
And I think it is important to discern what emotions we need to cultivate and expand in order to live a happy and fulfilled life, and which ones we need to dissolve and transform and weaken their roots until up root them all...
I think that a good strategy to get out of the Rookie stage is... instead of saying to the other person "You did that to me", we could say in a composed manner to your significant other or friend: "I want you to know that by acting in this way you TRIGGERED IN ME these negative emotions". I think it is important to improve our abilities to communicate back and forth feelings and emotions if you want to nurture a true and supportive friendship with someone.
In buddhism we use the term "watering" the positive or watering negative seeds in one another. And i think it is crucial to be aware that we are doing this all of the time ...
I am a bit concern with this tendency that spiritual people are having nowadays to defend that "nothing is bad or good", or "nothing is right or wrong"... I prefer to think that actions do not equal the person who act. I mean, if you did a wrong or bad thing, it doesn´t mean YOU ARE A BAD PERSON. It just mean you acted in a bad way, your actions are wrong, but this doesn´t mean you are wrong... Well this is a big topic that i would have a lot to say but I don´t want to bother you...

I seemed to have picked up right where I left off when I shut my guidance down. I had a lot of confusion on how to process the emotions and was very confused on why some situations trigger me so much and other situations (which could be perceived as worse or more intense) did not phase me at all. I have been meditating on this all week and this video has cleared up all of this confusion. Many blessings to you.

I’ve read that the actual neurological response to anger in our brain only lasts 2 seconds. So staying angry takes work. Taking breaths or EFT physically help us and if nothing else can distract long enough to get past those 2 seconds.

Your videos always pop up when I’m going through a certain situation. You’ve been a such a huge blessing in my awakening ❤️🌎 The universe definitely listens. I’m a zig zagger and my reaction is still triggered by control loss and I have no clue why and how to stop it. I trust the universe and the way things happen so I have no idea how to heal my trigger. 😞

    1. the rookie. Reactive. "You made me do this" person who acts like a victim
    2. The zigzagger. Sometimes Aware of their emotions.
    3. The master. Completely detached and doesnt react. They take responsibility. "I feel..." they ask questions and very curious and understanding.
Tips and advice. 1. Become aware of your energy and emotions. 2. Become an energy transformist (bring the emotion up to the heart) shine your light 3. Ask questions. Why am I feeling this way? What was it about this situation that influenced me in this way?

Thank you for all the great information, sitting back and soaking it all up, I believe I zigzag, and I can probably over react or under react, how I’ll change? Be aware, let the emotional energy flow THROUGH me, ask it questions and get to the root of the feeling, honor it, it’s ok to feel this way, and then let it it go, like a feather floating down a stream. My goal is to ask the questions when things come up

For some reason i think i jump from the anger phase, take the breath and then i jump to ask questions 🤷‍♀️... that actually happened to me last week, talk about sinchronicity... i was upset and mad at my brother all day long, didn't yell at him or anything, took a deep breath, and barely talked to him all day, just kind of hid from everyone and pondered

I absorb emotional energy from others .with intense emotions my mind struggles to put a memory or experience or some today kind of situation to apply it . But recently I experienced something I had no idea how I did it. But I evidently somehow projected it back to all my neighbors.

I wish I had known about you in feb 2019...ugh. would have helped me so much more!!
I guess I came across your channel when I was ready. I just found you around jan 4 2020. You are amazing
I was triggered very easy and very often....1 year ago. And yes even 3 months ago. Saying "you made me..." and I'd cry at the drop of a hat at someone that would lie to me. I was deeply hurt. Yet I'm learning to open up my heart. I've sat with grief from june 2019 to Jan 2020. I have felt the grief turn into - love.
I'm now starting to ask myself questions "what can I learn from this pain or from this grief? "
"what can I learn from this person lying to me? "
"Is it possible they didn't lie? Maybe they just suddenly changed their mind?"
"What is my soul trying to tell me by this person ghosting me all of a sudden?" The questions are hard but they can be answered after meditation. And it is work! It is not easy to go into the place of pain. But love heals it all.

Definitely a zigzagger still, but listening to how you explain everything with compassion makes me not be judgmental of the current stage I am in and excited to be able to be in the next one. And knowing that it is okay, human as we are, we can swing back and forth from a zigzagger to a master at any given circumstance, gives me a sense of calmness. I guess I am doing fine. Thank you.
