Hey guys I appreciate the feedback on the camera angles. I had the two angles so you can get a sense of how good of quality the DJI Pocket 3 is to the Sony a7iv. In the future my videos will not have all these angles this often.
I don't find the camera angle switches too bad (and I understand why you included those) , it was more the post production zoom ins/outs felt a little overdone. Great video quality BTW 👌
Not loving the random angle switvhes but overall good video and comentary on this camera. The image seems really good in your studio too. I don't think there is enough said about the Pocket 3's capabilities for studio production. Folks are so caught up on being "cinematic" when the world is wayching them on phones screens and 30fps is seeming to become more popular.
I appreciate the feedback, the angle switching was to show a lot of the other camera with the dji pocket 3 just for context. As I was doing it I was like uhhh. This is a lot. What camera do you use btw? Im getting ready to shoot a color matching video.
I think im going to do a video on my studio set up. I really started learning more about cameras and settings 6 months ago. Like I didn't even know what a lut was or why color matching was a thing. That being said The pocket 3 with what it offers made more sense to get than any other camera. I already had the a7iv.
You over did it with the 2 camera angles, and the zooming, very jarring. Sometimes less is more. Also a lot of swaying is going on, is that because you have the osmo on tracking? I'm really excited about this camera; I would have one already but can't find a kit in stock. I would love to see what the 4k looks like with your setup, cause the 1080 looks a bit soft. I can never tell if its soft 1080 or something else going on. I know sometimes my video's look sharp on my screen but then a little fuzzy after I edit and post. Keep posting and I'll keep watching,
The effect you're seeing is called handheld. The reason why you see so many angles is so you can see the pocket 3 and the a7iv. And get a sense of how similar the quality is.
If your looking to not spend over 1,500. Its the best option. In my opinion. I do have an a7iv and an fx3 too. My first cam was an a7ii and I wish I knew about the dji pocket at that time.
I have Canon cameras that I use to record dance recitals from multiple angles, and even though they are the same make and model, the colors don't always match up. Things get even trickier if I try to add a Sony or Panasonic into the mix... makes for a lot of post production color correction...
@@joshuafcenterson the phone or pc it shows 1080 as the highest resolution that can be chosen. There is also no 60fps version of 1080p. So I do not understand what do you mean by 4k?
@@joshuafcenters you could check if: 1) your video editing software is exporting videos in 4k. 2) if when you are filming you are using 4k resolution. I think youtube wouldnt remove higher resolution version. I do see other videos on youtube as having options for 4k or 60fps. I hope you are able to see that this current video is 1080p.

The DJI Pocket 2 has ActiveTrack 3.0, which can keep a selected person or object in the center of the composition. All of your different camera angles/movement combined with your harsh pink background lighting, for some reason, made it very hard for me to concentrate on what you were actually saying. I was super distracted lol

In the settings you can adjust the Mic 2 gain. I always use +6DB on the Mic 1 on both the Transmitter & Receiver.

Ya the 1080 is a bummer. I will make a follow up for you guys in the 4k this week. I have no clue why it didn't upload in 4k.
All the settings are 4k.
Why all the zooms and camera movements? Try making these more intentional. PS. i own the Pocket 3. I agree, its great
2 reasons, I wanted to see the quality. And I just got a zoom plugin so I was a bit zoom happy.

Thats interesting I would have figured they would match up better. I heard the sony does pretty good with that. I have the a74 and the a7ii

I’ve watched probably every video on the Pocket 3 and you are the only person that has complained about the microphone.
Out of the box I prefer my other Dji mic

Pocket 2 does active track on 4k, just not 60fps but 30.
