Your skate has its own battery. Ive never thought smbd could do a video of how to stick a led strip😮

Not sure I'd do it, but the e board community has been liking on board packs for spare parts including battery packs. Some of them have strong enough batteries that can charge the board. The on board bag might be safer for the battery pack because it would be on top of the board rather than below.
How do the LEDs stand against water?

Most def depends on the brand of LED lights you get. Typically tho, as long as your wires/connections are sealed, you should be good. The board bag is new to me, I’ll look into that
