The stormcore was my intro to all that is vesc & I must say that it's definitely a game changer! Say I want to start my ride out hard & fast... all I do is connect via Bluetooth to change my battery & motor amps settings. If I want to ride a little more conservatively, I can lower everything all from my phone without having to take the enclosure off & plug it in to my laptop. Mboards is quick with getting parts out to you as well.
I would have said first and foremost bushings to Riptides or venom, grip tape to foam grip tape, battery charger to higher amps for faster charging, and if its a flat deck add a foot stop. And I feel the wheels and pulleys would be clumped into each other as the same. Also would have pointed out that torque would be lost with more top speed and visa versa with lower top speed. And for the newbs, bearing sizes may differ depending on the axle size. And going back to the wheels, truck length varies on ability to take AT wheels. Wheel bite sucks

Definitely getting new bearings from board bumbers, you should do a AT wheel balance walk through

Ok so it's smaller pulley = faster accel, larger pulley = higher top speed?
Smaller pulley is slower acceleration but better top speed.
Larger pulley is faster acceleration but lower top speed
