After hearing this, it sounded that Jim adored and appreciated Steve Shame that Disney and Henson's kids couldn't see that, and I agree with Steve, Disney doesn't know what they're doing with The Muppets
The idea of typing out an author's book, so to get a feeling of what it felt like to be that author resonates with me. It is much the same thing when I learn to play a piece of music by Bach or Chopin; even to experience the movement of my hands on a keyboard as they did. Fascinating, the magic of transference at the physical level! My impression listening to Steve speak is that flow-state is no stranger to him. He goes with the flow, and quite extraordinarily so! This has been a wonderful interview to sign your year off with! Congratulations! Blessings!
this was just amazing and awesome to watch I am a huge fan of the muppets and Fraggle rock and dinosaurs and Sesame Street hello from Canada 🇨🇦 I love this video so much Steve Whitmar is a awesome puppeteer 😊😊 55:1155:11
Steve Whitmire does a fairly professional job as Kermit in Jim Henson's place for a good several years. His voice really sounds a lot like the latter as well (just like Marion in Thomas & Friends when Lucy Montgomery voiced her in one season when Olivia Coleman wasn't around). I really wish Muppet Family Christmas is rereleased more often rather than being sidelined due to copyright issues, and not to mention being overshadowed by all the more popular Muppet Christmas Carol and stuff.
Well done guys on this last episode of the year! There were some new things that Steve mentioned here and I really enjoy how amazing and insightful in this interview. Thanks for doing this! Keep doing your podcast guys!!!
Hey Jake happy nostalgia show how are you doing I love watching your videos and please do a interview with kathleen herles because she's been part of my childhood she's been a part of my life since I was born
Hey there! The day that we’ve recorded our interview with Steve is that we only had an hour with him since it’s the same day he was going to Columbus for GalaxyCon. Hope you understand! Hope you did enjoyed our episode with Steve.
@@jakeythebwbcfan5 Hey, Did you read my comment from before about wanting to be a part of your chats? It would really be a honor and a joy to just see them and talk to them and maybe give me advice of how I can achieve my dream of being a singer/ children’s entertainer in show business.

36:28 a very nice compliment what Jerry Nelson said to Steve about performing kermit
I'm crying inside, no offense to Matt but Steve will always be my favorite kermit and Rizzo - 48:36 🥲💜💜💜
Matt doesn't do Kermit though.
@@YujiUedaFan Yes he does.
@@Asukenick Oops, I got names mixed up.

Oh my god he’s still got it!! 🥹
48:34 Steve can still do Kermit and I wish that’s how Kermit would still sound like
And he can still do Wembley and Rizzo pretty well from what I heard.
@@Asukenick Sucks because they re-cast Wembley in the remake.
Kermit sounds like a generic dumb guy now, which made me think Matt Vogel was temporary.
@@YujiUedaFan Fraggle Rock was his favorite project too. He was very disappointed when he wasn't asked to take part in the reboot.
@@Asukenick You know what really sucks? Kevin Clash works on it!

WHAT?! STEVE WHITMIRE?! I though Steve would be impossible!!!
I know, right!? They finally did it, thank God 😭

Great episode, guys 🤙🏻🤙🏻
So awesome! ❤
58:16 STUCKWEED!!!!!!!
Great to hear Steve but, gee a lot of awkward moments in running this interview.
It's just the vibe of the runners of this podcast. A lot of the time they just sit quietly and don't ask many questions.

Can you get Kathleen Herles (original Dora voice) on next?
Too bad this wasnt two hours long.

Too bad he didn’t talk about things that fly, muppets on wheels and muppet classic theater
Agreed! Muppets on Wheels & Things That Fly were my two personal favorites as a kid and still are to this day.🙂
48:45 I can tell you did rizzo as Donald Trump
