Onslaughts design will probably be the only reason why people will even remember it existed. All the designs, are just ripped from 11 but they randomly chose what gear to wear to the point where some look jarring.
I get the feeling Onslaught Raiden was coloured the way he was because they wanted to stick closer with the New Timeline version. Their colour palettes are very similar.
Going on and on about how lazy Mk: Onslaught is and then getting sponsored by an A.I Generated RPG that makes you do all the work with designs is laughable
I don't understand why they went with the awful top for Liu kang in mk 11 and by extension onslaught. The shirtless look is what he already wears when he is sent to the future and is iconic. If they wanted a top I would much prefer a simple tank top like he had in MK4 which sadly is only available for the revenant version (unless they added it later, didn't play mk11 for too long) or maybe a variation of his MKX look but for the younger version which would look cool because that outfit is good even if not canon.

Amazing choices! I loved Onslaught Scorpion because of what you mentioned, it's so good! Your redesign is nice, reminds me of Armageddon Scorpion (even though that mask is the Annhiliation one) because of the way it's structured. The flame patterns make me think of MK9 Scorpion, great job. I agree about Noob's designs needing more blue, whenever I choose his alts in either MK11 or M1K, I always go for the blue tinted ones (heck the blue glow one from M1K goes hard, makes him look like some sort of Ice Wraith haha.)

Did a little digging on Echos of Mobius and I don't know if this is a game I'm comfortable supporting. They say they trained it in house but all that really means is they exploited human artists for an algorithm :(

i worked on onslaught and there were many issues in the backend that led to its downfall. your designs are cool and maybe could've helped, but the team had 0 art resources. we decided to save money by reusing old models.. a good idea to save money and focus on content, but we released with far less content than we wanted to due to bad planning. anyway cool video, just thought I would shed some light!
There's something funny about a bunch of other male characters ending up shirtless but _MK11_ Kano's hairy "thirst trap" chest ending up covered. Shippers in shambles. (Also, gods 04:14 hurts to look at.)

No offense but you can't really assume that something is better just because you thought of it and you said at one point that your Kitana look is the one EVERYONE would prefer......HOW DO YOU KNOW? I don't like your choices and I'm an artist so I understand balance in design so there must be more people that also don't agree. Your opinion is an example of the main reason I think customization in fighting games needs to end. So tired of seeing these god awful creations that look nothing like the characters by the time you get done. Not everyone is an artist or understands how to NOT make bad designs because they're opinion of "cool" gets in the way, thanks for proving that.

I love MK and character customization but I really feel like they always miss the mark when it comes to customization in MK
