in 1994 when the U.S.A. held the World Cup for the first time in its history, no new stadiums were built because they just used American football stadiums that were already up and running. I think the biggest cost for the USA in a World Cup event would be security costs.

Group C, France Peru and Denmark are solid teams. France and Denmark qualify.
Group D is very hard cause Iceland is strong too, don't discriminate! It's going to be decided on goals!!
Group E, Serbia is tough too!! but Brazil and Switzerland will surely qualify
Group H, Poland, Colombia and Japan, that's going to be fun to watch, I think Japan and Poland qualify.

My own country is probably worst football country if we compare country sizes to how they perform in football but Iceland is definitely my favorite one of this tournament if not overall. World Cup is and ALWAYS will be bigger than the Olympics... Hear me out, you can argue that more people watch the Olympics and that is true, but the cheer number of different sports and matches throughout the event is gigantic. Now imagine that the same amount (ALMOST) of people are travelling, watching, streaming for just ONE sport which is football. You're basically comparing all the sports in the globe (including football) to just one and theres not much difference, so FIFA World Cup is the GREATEST EVENT IN OUR WORLD

Surprisingly that night I had a dream that Poland lost 1-2 with Senegal, so I decided that I should probably go to school and just watch it there if anything. When I found out Poland lost, I wasn't surprised like the others. (Plus I'm the only Polish Fellow in my class). It's funny how things work.

Group D. Honestly, Iceland is probably playing the best out of all of them.
jr4chargers In my opinion they just got lucky. If it wasnt for the goal they barely scored and the missed penalty by messi, they wouldn't have won, obviously. They focus too much on defence and lack attacking tactics. I mean seriously having all the players in the penalty box is extreme for a draw. They will not get far unless they keep a balance with their attacks.
This team reminds me of 2012's Chelsea (Champions League). Their main focus is defense, with some counter-attacks. This type of football can be boring to watch, but can also be very effective. I really don't think they simply had luck on their side, but they are well coached. They proved that in the Last Euro. I mean, yea, they lost in the Semi's, but they still showed everyone that they are not push overs.
jr4chargers Defensive wise they are almost unbeatable but not so much with attacks. If they implement the same tactics with Croatia, they will have a hard time with counter attacks since the Croatian midfielders are more experienced than the Argentineans. They have potential but i dont see them reaching the finals.
I do agree that they won't reach the finals, but I do think they will pass the group stage.
