- Hey Commanders - ready for a new mission?
Welcome to the start of Mass Effect Legendary Edition! - Thank you to the lovely gaming community who suggested I play this. I'm going in completely blind so this is going to probably frustrating at times, please bear with me!
Mass Effect Legendary Edition is a compilation of the video games in the Mass Effect trilogy: Mass Effect (2007), Mass Effect 2 (2010), and Mass Effect 3 (2012). Developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts, the compilation was released on May 14, 2021, for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One. All three games were remastered, with visual enhancements, technical improvements, and gameplay adjustments. Mass Effect, the first game of the trilogy, received more extensive upgrades than its counterparts, specifically with regard to graphics, combat mechanics, vehicle handling, and loading times.

Happy holidays 🎇 I'm so glad I caught up with your mass effect run. You have such fun blind reactions! P.s. Race against time sounds cooler so I'd pick that
45:08 Lool, you're Spectre because the Council made you a Spectre. Which means Spectres answer to the council and can strip your Spectre status anytime, just like they did with Saren.
@@Kendermagocska true, but not if I end them first?.. 👀🥲 I wouldn’t doubt sassy Jane 😂😂
Hello mon amie😊
Un excellent épisode, 20:25 attention ils arrivent tous 😮😅
Bravo toujours un plaisir de voir tes vidéos mon commandant, vivement la prochaine 😊😊😊
Hey dood!
Thank you so much for watching! I appreciate the support! 🫶🫶🫡
Watching this on my lunch break at work!!
Omg the honour?! have a good day at work when you go back 🫶
disconnecting council never gets old
whoops!
It’s actually disgusting the amount of satisfaction I feel from it 😂
I don't have too much to say just enjoying the episodes as usual hope your week has been going well and also I hope you enjoy Christmas when it comes🎁✌️
Aw thank you, my week has been lovely thank you, I hope yours has too!
And yes merry Christmas 🎄
Zombies IN SPAAAAAACE! 🤪 Poor Kaidan and Gary spent the majority of that mission in low health and poisoned 🤣
Wildness, and did they?? 😱 Oops my bad hehe 💀
Thank you for watching 🫶
@@eldeeable Watch for green health bars. Medigel is the antidote.
14:58 hahahah! :D i literally have never seen someone look so disgusted when getting paragon points ( not a bad thing i just found if so frikkin funny)
Hahaha! That’s probably my worst fail to date in this game actually 😂😂😂
Thank you for watching!!🫶
The Race Against Time and Virmire missions are the same thing. Race Against Time is just a kind of "umbrella heading" that includes Feros, Therum, Noveria and Virmire.
Suggestion: Can't remember if you've done the personal missions for Garrus (Dr Saleon) and Wrex (obtain his family armour), but if you have and you want to do Tali's too, you need to do a series of missions in the Armstrong Cluster. I only mention it because it's a bit of an odd one, in that it won't show up in your journal until after you've done it. It's up to you, obviously, but if you do wish to do it, I'd suggest doing it before going to Virmire.
I can't believe i forgot to suggest best girl Tali s mission. thank you!
Oh thank you! I didn’t know Tali had one, I will want to do that I like her, yes I’ve done the other two missions thank you! They were good!
Thank you for watching and the info! 🫶🫶
Another great episode
Thank you so much for watching! 🫶🫶
I was worried about the grenade thing. To use gas grenades you would have had to go into your inventory, select grenades, and click on the empty box to install the gas module. Otherwise they would have been lethal. Fortunately, melee works too, it's just more dangerous for you - but it's funnier. Fun fact: the knock-out grenades also instakill zombies in their blast range.
Omg are you serious?! Thank the heavens I didn’t use one then!! 😱💀 cause I went see to where it was and definitely did not do that! 😅
Meleeing is way more fun 😂💃
Thank you for watching! 🫶
I’ve played Mass effect for years and never did full renegade. You got me wanting to do one now😂
Omg! You should, but even I failed today, my first paragon mission.. made me sick 😂😂😂😢
@ you looked offended 💀🤣
I'm patiently waiting for let's play Halo 3 Part 1
Even not liking Ashley in every playthrough, I never considered doing the line that brings up zombies. Nice to see something new.
@@gregs3845 yeah she’s actually not bad to talk to! I didn’t like her at the start either, thank you for watching!! 🫶🫶
Hey, just a suggestion but soon you’ll get a main mission called Virmire. This is a very story-critical mission with lots of important decisions to make. Common consensus among the fanbase is that Virmire should be one of the last, if not the last, mission you do.
Just a heads up!
You think the thorian section was a "horror game"....
Hehehehehheheheheh... 😈
Jeong LIVED?? Clearly I never played as Paragon as I could have... I always smoked that twit when he drew his gun on me. Every. Time.
;)
It's easier to save him as renegade then paragon. Go figure 🤔
@@N74Life It's because he's a corporate bureaucrat who dehumanized the colonists into test subjects.
It's like keeping Albert Wesker alive.
It is, the noises are scary 😂😂😂
And could I have killed him? 👀 I really went full paragon here 😬😬
Thank you for watching 🫶
Oh yeah, Mass Effect is DEFINITELY a horror game. (At times, at least.)
There are missions that play on the cold vastness of space to be at least creepy, if not outright horror. There's a mission in ME2 - no spoilers - that starts out a bit unsettling, a bit creepy, than goes full-on horror... then ends with a bang. And there's always been, at the heart of ME, a Lovecraftian horror element.
It's a pretty versatile game with nuance, so some missions aren't like that, so you can forget that it's got those elements, but it's definitely a through-line for the series.
Yeah for sure, I will say the sounds in this level were great, they were freaking me out well and truly. They weren’t very spatially spread so everything felt very close!
It was a lot of fun! Thank you for watching! 2 sounds great! 🫶🫶
growing ulcers, must be from playing renegade :)
maybe she's related to Pressly
LOOL if only you knew dood 😂😂😂
But you might be right 😂😅
@@koekjeshepard5085he is prone to an ulcer? 😪
@@eldeeable on a serious note hope it gets better, they suck. Thanks for still entertaining us :)
@@eldeeable Pressley and Engineer Adams were talking at the very beginning of ME1 about Nihlus when Adams said to Pressley 'relax Pressley you're gonna give yourself an ulcer' or something like that.. idk how i still remember that.. call me a nerd
also, were you gonna do the 'side quests' off camera, or not at all? because theres one mission chain i really recommend doing but i think i already mentioned that somewhere idk?
I have a feeling I’ll complete the game before the side quests get done as I won’t have much time to play it asides from filming! 😅
Which chain would you recommend? 👀
@@eldeeable UNC Missing Marines, or depending if you got it or not under another name, its from Admiral Kahoku in the Citadel tower. I recommend at least doing that mission, and the one that follows up ( the name is s story spoiler for now but you'll fine out when you get there)
@@koekjeshepard5085 And going to the Moon.
@@SchulzEricT oh yes true :) and i could name a few more.. but i dont think Kara will do them :(
This is what happens you only know Warhammer 40K and play a game taking alot of inspiration from Star Trek. 🤣
You're too cute it should be illegal.
Good contrast with the renegade playthrough though
Haha thank you! I’m very much enjoying sassy Jane!
Thank you for watching 🫶🫶
Oh I'm the second person here oh hello 👋😊
Oh heyyyoooo 💃💃🫶
I don't mind you skipping the sidequests on the first one cause the next 2 games are so much better
Well that’s a good job because I’m defo completing the main game before the side quests there’s way too many! 😅
@@eldeeable First of all, I disagree: to me, it's ME2, then ME1, then ME3.
The developers kept playing with elements and tweaking things; there are some things about 1 that's better than 2 and 3; things about 2 better than 1 and 3; things about 3 better than 1 and 2. Which I think is kinda great because it makes replays much more fun. (If 3 was simply better in all ways, or equal, to 1 and 2; 2 better than 1, then going back to 1 would be a step back in a way that would make playing 1 more of a drag.)
I won't get into it, obviously - even talking about what 1 does great would spoil what changes for 2 - but I would encourage you to at least check out side missions that intrigue you. Maybe none do, but if you aren't going to be a completionist, I'd still say you don't have to stick to only main quests; there's definitely some sidequests that reveal interesting, even important, information.
@@eldeeable There are quite a few call backs to some ME 1 side missions in 2 and/or 3.
Mostly just flavour to the game world.
A lot of people like that, but to me it makes the galaxy seems small as you keep running into the same people.
I only know of one instance where not completing a side mission in ME1 might affect the main game, I'm sure someone will correct me.
