I remember you mentioning the owner having troubles (health?) and someone else was taking care of the dog. I am sorry, but this dog needs to be seen by a vet, like four months ago. I understand health, monetary problems, but this isn't a minor problem. Was the owner charged for today's groom---if so, maybe she/they should have invested the money in a vet visit first. Also, I am certain I left a comment in his last video in regard to his eye, but it seems to have disappeared. Not a hater, this poor little fella has to be miserable and needs some help. I believe it was the original video of Ashi that brought me to your channel some months ago! I’d been hoping for an update on this little guy, but this wasn’t the update I was hoping for.. I’m not sure if his eye issues are genetic, dietary, or both but dude needs to see a vet! What’s probably happening is once the eye discharge hardens, it rubs against the lens as he blinks or worse, scratches, which leads to corneal ulcers, which will indeed cause him to lose vision in that, if not both eyes if this persists! That’s why the eye is cloudy. The vet would use a special UV dye and light to check for this and would then provide the prognosis. Someone needs to do something! Side Note: He always looks so handsome after you take the time to go over him ❤️
I am so sadden to see Ashi in this state. He is such a lovely yorkie. He looks just like my girl who pass away about 2 months ago. I loved her dearly. I would love to adopt Ashi and provide him much love. Thank you for helping Ashi :)

When an eye gets cloudy usually it is from a cataract (maybe traumatic) or from disease. He may have scratched it when he was scratching from the infection. Bless his heart, he is so sweet. I hope the owner's health improves as well as Ashi.
Idk about anyone else but if I’m having health problems but one of my pets has an eye like this…I’m asking someone to come either help take care of the dog while I take care of myself or have them take the dog with them and make sure he gets proper treatment. You can’t make your animals suffer just because you have issues you know? ❣️
He lent into the water to wash his eye out and looked disappointed when you stopped. Then he loved the face wash and eye rinse. This little guy has severe allergies. They need to clean his eyes every day to stop it getting so bad. I'm surprised the vet didn't address this when he was there. Maybe they did and this happened since. Poor baby must be suffering so much and no wonder he was excited when he knew he waa coming to you, he knew you'd sort him out and make him more comfortable ❤. He sure does look handsome after his groom and his eyes/face look so much better too. Sadly I doubt it will remain that way for long unless his owner sees a vet asap and gets treatment for his eyes. I really hope you can encourage them to go 🤞 as I know if I was you I'd be struggling not to rush to the vets with him myself seeing the state he is in, and its clear its causing him pain. Oh and if you end up doing a fundraising thing for him let us know, and ideally please think about doing it under the condition the funds raised goes directly to the vet so we all know it would be used to help him ❤. Anyway i must go now as i should be sleeping, you really did a great job with Ashi and you can tell he was really trying to be a good boy for you. I love the way you scrup your pups down. You don't hesitate to use plenty of soap and give them a good massage at the same time. That's what you call a good spa day.
Aww poor little Ashi. The owner could bathe the eye with tsp salt dissolved in 1 pint cooled boiled water at least 2 times a day wiping from nr nose to outer eye. One cotton ball/gauze per wipe. It will help soothe the eye area and stop the build up of gunk and do him no harm until he sees the vet. The longer she leaves it the more it will cost to fix
Most yorkies get gooey eyes and all you need to do it’s buy eye wipes and clean both eyes every morning, make it part of your routine when brushing your teeth clean his eyes
That eye needs constant bathing and medication at home or a competent adult to help the mother do the job , he was leaning into the shower head to relieve the soreness and pain 😢poor poor boy , any money raised would go to the vet I suggest not the owner least that way he’s definitely getting treatment 😪
Totally agree with you, any money raised I suggest is given straight to the vet/put on the account for him so it can be used for what it's raised for. You know I love you Brittany 😊but that clipping round his eye seemed too long winded and protracted if I’m honest !,I know you gotta be so careful but it was a lot of pain keep pulling it instead of shaving it all off quicker not trying to unpick it bit by bit 😢maybe someone to hold him so you got two hands
That dog will lose that eye in less than a month if those owners don’t get him to the vet ASAP. If they can’t 100% keep up with that eye they need to hand him off to someone who can. It’s not an optional thing to do some days. This poor dog
I'm a yorkie owner and my boy gets gunk build up from one of his eyes. I can tell you now there is no way she is doing this daily and just skipped a day as suggested, the build up is way too bad and crusted up for that to be the case. I'd say this has taken many days if not weeks to build up to be this bad. Hope this helps...and like you I wish it was the case of the pet parent just skipping a day but I highly highly doubt it from my experience from my baby yorkies eyes.
Unfortunately I don’t believe she is cleaning them everyday. I do think she prevents it from forming over his eye like before but I don’t think it is being cleaned everyday
I remember this Yorkie being referenced months ago when he came in. The spelling of the name threw me for a moment: Oshy/Ashi. This eye being matted over twice!!! I pray he doesn't lose his Right eye & I certainly pray the recurrent matting over that eye is not a contributing factor.😣❤️🩹❤️🩹 Did not do a Comment before & not feeling so great today, but wanted to see who you were grooming today. Hello, I think his owner should put Terramycin Ointment in his eyes. Terramycin works fast and good on eye allergy issues.
