How not to warp your oil pan: Remember a piece of wood that touches all four corners of oil pan. Depending on the model, loosen engine/ transmission mounts driver , passenger, front & dog bone on top. Jack slowly. If you meet resistance , stop. You got to loosen something. Driver side, jack with slim wood on that transmission bell housing.
No problem. I did this job now. The biggest problem is that the drive axles came apart and I had to replace them. Luckely they were only about 100 dollars apiece at the local auto stores.
@@recon1071 that should not have happened, as it did not happen to me. Your axle was bad TBH. Now i must say on the drive side my axle popped out of the transmission. And I lost some tranny fluid. Popped it back in and I was good to go
Yes. Thanks for the reply. I know nothing about these CV axles. I replaced them on both sides because the boots were cracked. Got them localy for about 100$. Not to pricey.
Yessir, you should always have your alignment checked after suspension work just to be in the safe side, especially when you're dealing with control arms and tie rods
How do you jack it up from the oil pan with a piece of plywood on there?
did you jack the engine u[p by lifting on oil pan ? Aren't you going to collapse/ warp the oil pan ?

Can I use Toyota Camry parts on Lexus ES300 2003 model? I want Toyota's original parts but don't want to pay extra for Lexus parts. Thanks in advance
Of course, Lexus is made by Toyota so it's considered OEM parts
You did not show us how you installed the lower control arm. How much of the front end did you have to unbolt?
Sorry about that, but it was the revers procedure of the removal sorry
