Jounery was the best ever, i grow up listening them,The Engles, Chicago, etc. That was the greatest rock&roll ever, but no one can sing like Sleve Perry, his vioce was our gift. To music. Ever. Thank you ,Steve. And Jounrey, the best to walk the earth. Thank you. Incredible Music, Incredible Times!!!! R
i love steve perry so much he is the voice of journey there will never be another steve perry in journey becouse he has the most amazing voices in rock steve we missy you i love this post thankyou for airing it ya ya thats righr steve big fan and forever baby thanks michelle pringle
Thank you for postingLove his Honesty and when he gets choked up talking about how his mom believed in him. He has so much grace and class. God wasn't going to let Steve stay a recluse and become just someone in the past. No, he is now so popular and revered by a new generation and people in the stands all singing a song he wrote and sang. New fans appreciating his talent and what he gave to so many in his songs and performances!
Just love Steve's sincerity and authencity of character, personality, and soul. I hate when critics put music or songs in a box and immediately brand it or classify it into something that helps them understand it's meaning. It takes the grandeur of spirit out of what inspired the lyric and notes that reach the souls of so many! Music is a life of its own, let it be. God Bless you Steve Perry!
God is a funny God....Angels are among us....careful what you wish for, might come true.....this song is the most emotional song of all time for me.....your voice, the lyrics and the message....thank YOU
Oh my! Reading your comment made me tear up! It is such a confounding thing this life and the lives of people who have such an impression on our lives through their music. I think the fans greatest wish is if the artist only knew how much their voice/art meant to them.
I lost my father at age 27 in 1990. Had multiple sclerosis. And the 10th worse case in the United States. And I know how Steve Perry Feels about his mother. And at age 51. I am dealing with diabetes. Had a stroke 9 years ago. And we all have bad things happen in our lives. Took me 1 year to get strength back in my left leg from my stroke. And took me a long time to get over my father's death. And have been in bands. Got treated like shit when I done most of the singing. And left. And the band went in the hole. Live with Autism. And mild case. Because I can take care of my self. And the band not treating Steve right. Steve done the right thing to move on. And today. What the band done to Steve is biting them in the ass. And the new l was singer is not filling the shoes of Steve Perry. And Journey is not having the big crowds like they use to when Perry was with Journey. And huge crowds outside Football Stadium. And it is what it is. And maybe not the right thing to do to your lead singet. And chase them away. There was a lot of baggage in that band
Oh yes angels are among us Steve will always be the one. Yes, he is the voice yes he is what made journey, Sorry Jonathan , steve was the captain of the ship and he have to take the wheel
If you talk to Steve Perry again , please ask him if he went to high school for a semester in Victor Ville California in 1977. I could swear I saw, and heard him playing piano lyrics to "Faithfully" while the choir girls were singing along with him in our music room between classes. I only saw a boy with long dark hair from behind playing there.
KirkCrawford1960, Steve was born in ‘49, so in ‘77, he was 28 when he joined Journey. Jonathan Cain wrote the song, they recorded it in ‘82 & released it in ‘83. Maybe you’ve got memory of another song by another artist.
All these years later, that was awesome 👏🏽!🙏🏽 #StevePerry #FTLOSP

Steve was born in 1949 so obviously he wouldn't be in high school in Victorville (amazing you lived there and you don't know how to spell it) in 1977
Well he certainly wasn't a student there at 28 years old.
