I love this interview! I especially love the parts where he explains the difference in training and training for reality. It's true that you can find yourself in a situation where your in shock and forget what you've learned. I also like what he said in regards to people seeing you on a wall or rooftop and they ask "what your doing up there". I love David Belle!!

What he said about people interrupting us while training is actually a real issue going on these days. Some people just think too much about the bad outcomes when it comes to us failing our jumps. But of course,as long as no one's disturbed or you're not causing any trouble, then go for it.

Well. Thanks to this guy. Parkour has been a very important part of my life. been doin it for 6years now.. And love it. to those who don't do parkour.. My tip.. Try it, if you fall get up and try it again. And within a year maybe two parkour is the way you live. and you never look at a wall or staircase the same way. :P

His way of thinking made me overcome fear.
I mean we all hurt ourselves wether it's by doing some sport or just tripping on ice
It's important to not think ''Oh i tripped now i'm gonna get hurted.....''when you can actually use
your legs and arms to prevent some of the damage done to your self not just sitting there like a rock and take it

Truly inspirational, David Belle can make a believer out of any man, or traceur. Why AREN'T we moving? Fear......Nothing more...........Conquer fear and anything can happen. You break a leg and you know YOU have made a mistake...You TAKE the risks and know them. Do you take a test knowing nothing on the subject? Parkour is literally an ART. Moving nimbley from building to building. Rooftops become conduits and pathways...Possibilities.

i really like david belle been following him since the first vid popped up but when i see some of the comments here you would think some people would never have come upon these thoughts without davids help as if hes the best person in the world just because he says something that i think people should know from birth already.... pretty sad.
