Its 2023 and I just discovered Mia’s channel about 2 weeks ago when TH-cam recommended her reno video of her grandparents home, bc I watch DIY vids. Since that time I have binge watched all her videos from both her channels and love all of them. But today is the first time I saw her support of BLM. And as soon as I saw what she was doing I cried and couldn’t stop. For me, a black American woman, who (like so many) participated in the protests and works to educate both myself and others about the plight of African American people, this support STILL means so much. Thank you for supporting.

I think that it is a foundation that they are discontinuing. Usually when a brand discontinues a foundation, they'll just sell whatever they have left in stock and take down the shades that they no longer have, in addition to discounting their remaining stock.

as a Canadian (like mia) I dont think most of this was cheap, the 6 dollar palette? yes everything yes? NOOOO but Im not a makeup wearer and I have no concept of what the items should cost for a good deal also I feel like the word Inexpensive is completely relative and its different for every person, this to me would leave me broke.

This is still pretty expensive for England in my opinion, if you stick to mostly drugstore brands (rimmel, maybelline etc) you can find all of these things cheaper and in good quality. Primark makeup is the besttttt but I can't bring myself to shop there anymore.

You can still skip ads. They will still generate revenue. There are two kinds of ads. Ones you can skip and ones you cannot. The ones you cannot skip generate more money. The ones you can skip (whether you do or don’t) generate less.

Ulta did ship to Canada but now their website won't be doing anything until 2021.
Ulta is a great company, I only worked for them for a year but the CEO would stop in a lot in the summer cause she had a vacation house in our town that she stays at sometimes. Mary Dillon is a sweetheart

Especially when the "Cheapest..." insinuating something that could just be me being a tad oversensitive during this time period.

Just want to put this out there, when the pandemic closings started in the us Sephora fired everyone on a group conference call with absolutely nothing. Ulta supported their employees. The only way we can say something to companies is with our money. Just something I wanted to share- eta will watch the full video in support of BLM, but in case you wanted to know for future purchases
I don’t buy from Sephora anymore because of this reason. Also wanna add that Ulta employees tend to be more humble and kind hearted so I usually prefer Ulta but I feel bad for the Sephora workers that got let go..

Just to clarify: Sephora US only laid off some staff (seasonals, temp workers etc). Sephora Canada has not laid off ANY employees and is still paying them all. Don't believe everything you read online.
apollojakenwill I’m a recruiter for a lot of companies and the lay offs for a lot of companies (I don’t know about Sephora specifically) we’re done so employees could take unemployment until they can be rehired

idk why that anastasia product is labeled as a foundation bc it’s definitely one of those highlight/contour sticks that’s why it’s more on the yellow side!!
I noticed that too 🤔 if you look at the color name it says banana highlight pale yellow and I thought that was weird when it’s advertised as a stick foundation
I saw that there were only three shades available too, because it was contour and highlight sticks and not foundation. I can't believe she never realized it, because there are banana powders and stuff lol. Oh well. It still worked and gave me a giggle.

Reposting this comment so everyone who is having an issue can see: So I closed out of YT and refreshed 5 times and I still wasn't seeing any ads. I gave up and just decided to watch the video and try later thinking it was a YT issue like everyone else was saying. A few minutes into the video I got ads even though I didn't see any "yellow sections" in the video's load bar so I'm super happy! Maybe it's a glitch since theres so many that it's not showing but maybe everyone who is having an issue should still try to watch it! It might work for you.
on the website i didn't see the yellow marks but the yellow marks are shown on the youtube app. The website does give a 5 second warning that there is going to have an ad tho!
