Yesss I've missed the makeup tutorials! You should do Colourpop next, they have a lot of new stuff. As an oily person, I love Elf's oil control primer, their matte foundation, and the camo concealer. I was nervous to see you use the mascara, because the last one I ordered was super dry and didn't do anything. I didn't send it back though because they already accidentally sent me doubles of a few products, and told me that they didn't need them back and that I should just donate it! They have great customer service

I was originally drawn to your other videos - mostly the decorating ones. I’m not big on makeup or clothing hauls at all, but I have to say this video is an exception. I’m 46 and my skin has been changing ... and the way I used to do my makeup no longer works. I love the affordability of elf cosmetics, but I (like you) struggle to find foundations that work with my very pale skin (plus, I live in a super dry climate and already have crazy dry skin and rosacea ... the struggle is real). I also prefer a light, build able coverage. It sound like elf might have a good option for me! I’ve saved this vid because I want to try your technique. I’m sure I’m not really your primary demographic, but I tend to prefer the decorating/room makeovers and such better than this type of content. That said, do what feels right! I think you and your family are just so lovely to watch!

Ha, I keep wanting to dip my toes into ELF as I used to purchase quite high end make up and then going months without wearing any, so a huge waste for some items. There's a hydrating version of the camo concealer and it's so so so good. Like shape tape but not drying at all. It's my favourite concealer I've ever used.

I feel you on the foundation issue! I can never find foundation that is light enough. You can buy "shade adjusting drops" at The Body Shop if you have one in your area. They lighten foundation when mixed in without changing the texture. Loved the video as always! I'd love to see more videos like this :)

Plus, I think it's great for you to experiment with styles that are out of your comfort zone and that you wouldn't normally think to put together, because you and I have very different styles.
