Hi, I got the point of SCHUFA but one thing I really got stuck in. Speaking of my background, my nationality is Bangladeshi, passport is Bangladeshi but I have an Italian citizenship. Finished my bachelor degree. Have a bank account registered from Italy. Now I am planning to move in Berlin to settle myself. So my questions are, *Do I have to get a SCHUFA score(I am currently living in Italy) first OR no cause I have Italian residence permit? *Can I get a SCHUFA via online from Italy? *Is it mandatory to have SCHUFA for the 'anmeldung' purpose? Please let me know. Thanks.
Schufa will handle everything. As soon as you make the first contract here (e.g. bank account, mobile phone, electricity, etc) you will get a Schufa file. No need to do anything from your side. 👍
Hey! I got a schufa basisscore of 93,91% but the banks that I have credit card from gave me H :( I will stop using my credit cards, will this effect the ability to get a loan?
A better Schufa score will increase the chances of you getting a loan and the conditions (e.g. interest rate) you have to pay on your loan. @@PerFinEx I paid everything in time, I read that in the US it's recommended not to use more than 10% of the credit, I didn't stay with that rule, could this be the reason?
The real challenge with Schufa is that they keep their calculations a mystery so nobody really knows the details. To get the most definitive answer for your case, you can reach out to your credit card provider and ask them what they reported to Schufa.
Hi Axel, ordered a Schufa credit report, yet I could not find the scores percentage wise. I only see a rating scale of 100 to 600. How do we read this?

It depends what your landlord is asking for.

The score you see is probably a specific industry score. Your overall Schufa score ranges from 0-100.
