As an IT guy I'm Considered a high Earner in Gemany but what I make a month here I made in a week in the USA. German salaries are just to low. Very little Innovation is encouraged.
Yea thats true! Thats the reason Germany is not attractive to skilled people or highly educated people. You will not get that good work life balance in the US but when you are earning more than 7k in Germany then you also have to work really hard.
Could you do a reaction in the video “how I left Nigeria and became rich in Switzerland” 🇨🇭 it’s about an African that became wealthy in Switzerland by practicing most of what you teach on your channel
At 8:47, you say 4000e gross would result to 2600e net. But the taxes there are only 573e, so where did the rest go ?? Maybe i didnt correclty understand, can you explain to me ?
@@CuriouslyWatching oh okay, it would have been better if he showed for every salary how much left would it result to. Because its confusing this way. Thanks tho !
The highest income level in Germany begins at €5,859 gross per month?!?! That's roughly 70k annually... To be considered to be a high earner? Wow... That's a lot lower than I thought it would be...
@@PerFinEx I did watch the whole thing, but the place where "high earners" began seems rather low - and that's the point where I paused to comment. To me, this illustrated the average wage being rather low... And that surprised me, especially given the cost of some things, like housing... As an example, I bought a house in 09 for about 330 and considered that a deal, especially given the economic conditions at the time... But a neighbor in the row sold his about a year ago for nearly 800 and I wondered how anyone could afford that... I probably wouldn't be willing to pay that much if I had to do it again... Seeing the wage bands in the tax brackets makes it clear how out of reach property ownership must be for most German workers... (I'm a special case, paid in US Dollars and exempt from German income taxes, so I had something of an advantage in this situation.) But... That said, I especially like the advice you give for each of the tax bands, something they can focus on to achieve a financial goal that is relevant to their financial circumstances.
@@fabio.p14 I'm not going to discuss my personal details in a public TH-cam comment section other than to say, given the cost of housing, it doesn't seem possible for almost anyone on this income list to actually afford to buy property... (€3,000, or €4,000, or even €5,000 per square meter makes property unaffordable when most workers aren't even making 70k a year)
Love your videos. Thank you! Can you also perhaps do one helping singles mums who really want think of saving and how to aslo make use of the government benefits for tax declaration processes? Thank you

The Deutsche Bahn CEO should be earning minimum wage based on the performance of the trains🙄

The subtle joke about the DB CEO's salary was classic 😆
Hi PerFinEx, if you could publish a video on government benefits, it would be very helpful to your followers. Please.
Can you please let us know which goverment benefits are applicable to the Medium earner category?
Great one. Thanks

There are other deductions on top of income tax:
1. Health & Nursing Insurance
2. Retirement Savings
3. Unemployment Insurance

Now the question is: where do you live...? And give some concrete examples of jobs which are earning much more than that
Did you watch the video until the end? There are 2 income categories higher than that.
