I'm back with another hair tool review. There are a lot of infrared flat irons or hair straighteners that say they incorporate infrared heat/light technology to get the best results for styling any type of hair. But I still have not seen a good heat hair tool that incorporates infrared heat technology that works better. What is your favorite curling iron and why?

The way you curl your hair is so soothing to watch for some reason, oddly satisfying! Every time I try your method, my results don’t look like yours
Agree. I don't care about this tool (don't live in US so couldn't buy it even if I wanted to) but I watched because I love watching her do those curls.
Your hair looks more or less the same no matter what tool you use. Beach waves are your personal favorite so that’s how you judge each tool. I’m not complaining, simply making an observation.

I purchased an infrared curling iron off Mercari from a lady who received it as a gift and never used it. The brand is Zara, and I absolutely love it! I can
find a Zara infrared flat iron but not a curling iron on the internet. It’s a little longer than a regular curling iron which is nice and it does have the infrared lights which may be gimmicky, but I have to say my hair is in better health after using it for over a month so I feel it is doing something to help protect my hair. Thanks for the review!

Always telling it like it is! Thanks!!! Try the Xtava Black Orchid curling wand. I have had ir for ages and it works great to fix any of my natural curls that have chosen not to cooperate and have lost their definition. Amazing, and not expensive!!!!
I have an infrared round brush hair dryer and love it. It does only heat up the center of the barrel. It's more protective on my hair than the conventional type of blower brush. Not sure you have given the iron a fair shot. I agree with the trim being gimmicky. But, it's probably much lighter to handle. My dryer is! And, my hair dries much faster. Maybe try the dryer too and see what you think. Mine is a Sultra, purchased at Ultra. Pricey, but to me, worth it for the health of my hair. PS, love your videos and your insight! You have saved me from trying several products and encouraged me to buy others. Keep doing what you do so well!

I love the explanation 9n why 370F is the lowest temp, simply proved that you both spoke without thinking. Regardless of whether the Infrared, coil, fire etc is what elevated temperature to 370 is still 370 🙄 1 kilogram of potatoes wheights the same as a pound of feathers. The point of infrared here is basically on how it's going to work altering your hair proteins to a dry state but from the inside out, if this happen technically hair can retain thee texture you provided. I do not know if this tool works but I do know how it should behave
Head Kandy has infrared curling irons and straighteners. I wonder if they’re any better. The heat won’t go over 410.
I have both and love them both, you have to use them properly though. I cant take huge sections of hair with my straightener. i have to use 1-2 inch sections. I have curly frizzy hair and im good after 1-2 passes though my hair

I bet it just a normal curling iron with red LED lights. It doesn't make sense to have the red lights at the sides. How would that eveb heat up the wand? Either the whole wand should be covered in lights and then covered with glass like tube to have something to curl the hair over, or the infrared lights should be inside the wand to heat it up and then the titanium should conduct the heat to the hair. I'm no engineer but I don't think it works like that.
Yeah, we wouldn't be able to see the infrared radiation either way because it's out of the visible spectrum. It's just a random company preying on the easily swayed.

I would think the Dyson would be the better choice being that it comes with so many attachments plus you could style/curl as you dry. It does everything a regular blow dryer does plus more and with less heat damage. Hope I was helpful.
@@kalishajnz I have the complete set. It is a great product. But, I now have my hair short and don't use the Dyson. Just decide if you will keep your long hair for several years or it's just not worth that much $$$.

For some reason there aren't many curling irons here in Australia. I would like to get one as I love these sort of curls. I have a choice out of a GHD or Hot Tools. I don't hear much about either of those curling irons. Lots about other GHD tools but not their curling iron. Can any one recommend the GHD or Hot Tools? Oh I can get the Dry Bar one too from Sephora.
Julia Pearson I'm sorry but I can't make a recommendation but try watching a lot of TH-cam videos, like the rest of us here in the U. S. 😄 you know, with the coronavirus. I have a couple of curling irons but they're both generic type brands. I hope this virus isn't a problem for you in Australia. You've been through enough trauma with the fires. I hope you're doing OK. 💜
@@tamaramorton8812 I can't find many videos on the brands I can get here. Most videos seem to feature the Kristan Ess one or the T3. Unfortunately Covid is a problem here too like the rest of the world. And yes coming on the back of the bushfire season has been extra bad. People were already stressed out. I hope you are ok too.

I hate to break it to you, all of the tools you use have a heating element and the metal conducts the heat so the whole barrel heats up. This is the same. Not saying it's a good product, for $80 its poor quality.
Aria beauty is garbage and their customer service is awful, they are patronising and will try every trick in the book to not honor the manufacturers warranty. I got the infrared flat iton and it snags the hair because the “floating plates” only make contact at the tip, not the entire length of the plates when gently closed. Even the 20$ flat irons you reviewed all had correct floating plates. They also advertise this model as professional and ideal for use “behind the chair” but the warranty doesnt cover it if used on clients.

Well, she's 7(?) months pregnant, there's coronavirus, she spent $80 (which I'm sure could be better used on diapers or formula), and she hit the nail on the head. It didn't work well for her.
