The second I hear that melody, the instant I turn into a 7 year old kid, with the smell of a fresh Mega Drive cartridge cluttering into my nose, imagining the old CRT in front of me, sitting on my old couch with the toys spread out on the ground. While it's dark and snowy outside, the beautiful SoR title screen would bear me with the light and warmth I needed so much. The melody would lull me into a sense of security.
I was always wondering who that Mr. "Yuzo Koshiro", whose name was on the title screen, is. How is he like? What does he do? Where does he live? It was impossible to figure it out, internet was not available to me back then.

I’m old enough to have played this on the Sega Genesis back in the early 90s , really takes me back to how much I loved the Streets Of Rage games.

The memories I have playing this series with my brothers growing up. Now I’m inspired to make VGM soundtracks. Thanks Yuzo Kushiro!

So much nostalgia. I never realized when I was a kid I was listening to an amazing soundtrack until I was much older.
