Segway Ninebot S Review - (1 Month / 95+ Miles Ridden)

- I purchased a Segway NineBot S just over a month ago, I’ve put over 95 miles on the bot so far. I thought I would make a short video to review the product and help others who may be interested in purchasing.

Great video man ! I got a dualtron thunder 3. You can go 65 mph and just ride on the rode. When you feel the power and torque of something like that you get hooked lol

I'd love to hear what you had to say about the ninebot S, I got the ninebot S-Plus and not to much is different about it except yours can interchange with a handle. Handling is about the same, wheels are a bit larger on mine, wish I new where I could put air in the tires if needed, but over all I think I agree, very nice unit overall.
the plus version cannot be converted into a go kart, that's the problem, dunno why
I’ve got 2. How the hell so you turn on the headlights? When I click the headlight button on the app they don’t turn on. Are they automatic at night or something
The Cave Arcade mine have always been on - have never been able to turn mine off. So the opposite of your situation lol
Austin Brady ahh. Ok. Odd. Strange that 2 of them would have the same problem. I’ll have a check when it gets dark (I got them today) see if they come to life after hours 😂

How accurate is with the miles yours? Mine marks 2.5 when in reality is only 1.2 miles. Is it normal
I rarely use the app anymore. You’ll notice in my later videos that I also swapped out the stock tires for larger ones and this also threw the calculation off
@@austinbrady4080 I ended up, returning the item back and doing an exchange for an other one. Happened same thing with the miles

Is that the fastest it can go, or are you just going slow for demo?
KRG29 it goes about 10-11mph. I have since put after market tires on that are larger and this has increase it barely now 11-12 mph. Sometimes I wish it were faster, but tbh it’s the right speed. Sometimes faster would be hard to control from a braking aspect.

I have over 320 miles on the Ninebot S at this point. Still working well - battery range is stable & build quality remains high. I added new/ bigger tires (not bc the old ones wore out, but mainly for fun/looks). But I still ride it to work 5 days a week. highly reliable.
Austin Brady Can you post a link to the tires you got? Also, is there a firmware update that deals with the beeping issue yet?

Try the S-plus or S-max for more power, speed and range
get the swallowbot board from more for motion. $116 and it will remove the pushback and increase the speed
