Hey there! I saw the video titled "Segway" and it seems like a cool product! If you're into outdoor activities like camping, the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series could be a useful addition to your gear. It has a massive capacity, fast recharging, and even waterproof technology. Definitely something worth considering for outdoor adventures! Stay powered up!
Nice video. I was surprised that your top speed was the same as mine with the original tires. I am happy with the increase in speed and am no longer riding the tilt back.
Hope you still have the mini pro. I have one, with the Swallow update. I use the Mini for film work and was wondering whether the bigger tyres and smoother tread are quieter than the standard tyres.
Thanks Duf, I think the MiniPro is great except for that annoying speed limitation of 10 miles an hour. Yes occasionally you can get up to 11 with it downhill but it is generally stuck at 10 for me. This modification looks like something I could do. What specific tools did you use? Thanks for the video and for bringing it to my attention. Mike from Tampa.
I dislike the "tilt back" on my Ninebot S too, but it may be unavoidable. If there was just a speed governor but no tilt-back, then when the user tried to lean further forward when already at top speed, the board might not be able to stay upright. Simple physics. Tilting back is the only way to stay upright without going faster.

Im sure you got this question plenty of times regarding the Bluetooth pairing PIN number. Fresh out of the box. 2. Put it together 3. I believe I used the App at some point, and had to watch about five learning videos which the app forces you to do on the ninebot s-plus. Things like step on, turn 360 degress left, the right, roll forward, etc. The app comminicated with the s-plus the entir time. Meaning a connection (via Bluetooth) must have been made to follow my progress, right? Then, i used it at work. Crusing around, getting throttled back and beeps since I was in learning mode. Which was fast enough. Later on, after work, i start up the app (which i didnt use at all the entire time at work) and it tells me ive unlocked the s-plus and able to select speed mode. I then searched for help online, finding the six digit pin suggestions of six 0's (000000) that did not work. Can I still use the s-plus without the app Yes. Just like I did at work (with most likely the speed limits resulting in the beeping and throttling behavior. So, that brings us back to where I am. 1. Not able to successfully pair because of failed attemps due to bad PIN number (i assume) because the pairing sequence stops or fails each time (using the phones Bluetooth pairing process. I did try to record my trip (which it followed my trip) and when I stopped at my destination (Front door of the gym) the recording said it doesn't log trips less than or only 200 meters). So, the app is monitoring maybe externally my movements using gps info only, and perhaps, not from the device wheel turning information, suggesting Im still not communicating with the S-plus because I really didnt pair the device successfully. So the app us merely using gps info from my phone only, and not internal sensors from the s-plus. @@Ntatesibusisombata The managment system in a MiniPro considers that a dead battery. Consider searching TH-cam for videos on how to revive a dead MiniPro battery. I think Segway calls this waking the battery from a dormant cycle. Yikes...
Great video.
I have a question about the Bluethoot remote speed. It's any speed upgrade on grasse and hills. (Default mode it's bery weak)
Have not tested
Having trouble getting out of training mode what to Do.
If it's brand new you normally have to put 1KM on the wheel first.
Is posible in ninebot s black?
Don't know.
Does anyone know if this works with the pro max
I do not know.
Great video! Thank you.
Thanks for your work with Swallowbot!
Like to new intro👍👍👍
Nice helmet too..👌
Helmet will be great for DD runs!
Will this work with my Segway Ninebot S Plus?
I do not know, if I were you I would check on More4Mini website.
I'm sorry, I don't speak English very well and wanted to ask how fast you are going now
14 MPH
the unit used to be quite quick but the truncated speed is a deal breaker. its junk now - constantly pushing back. it's more dangerous. give the rider freedom to decide
just some feedback.: the two intros really clashed. loved the first one. but the NFL Sunday Night Football thing not so much
I have intros out the wazoo!
Caan anyone do this with the smax??
Unsure
Does it works for the mini plus?
You would need to ask More4Mini about that.
Cool helmet bro
Where can I buy?
more4mini.com
Hello, my friend, do you need the battery? I have the battery of 5.2AH, 10AH, 12.8AH and 14AH. If you need it, please contact me. This is my e-mail: sales07@yybms.com
Has anyone installed swallowbot on the S-Plus ?
Not that I am aware of, doesn't mean it hasn't happened
@@Duf I bought a s plus last year from a legit seller on eBay that buys and resales Amazon returns. I wound up with a s plus that is locked because the unknown previous owner never did unbind it so I have a honking beeping hot mess of a ride and I need to find away to get it rideable again. (Unbound)
I thought this would do the trick for me but they now say the s plus has several different varieties so they discontinued this setup for the S plus.
Hey Duf! is it just the speed or did also the steering sensitivity increase? thats what im looking for.
I noticed no difference in steering.
So it's like you got the go kart add on but without the go kart for an 8th of the price.
Yes and that go kart accessory looks like the most impractical thing, ever.
@@Duf unless you have a go kart track!
Your cool man.!
So are you!
Good you did turn it upside down because that is reset
Reset?
It kinda reminds me of like a BAC mono
No not really
I thought it was much easier to unscrew the system board and detach and then remove the cables.
I followed the instructions on the More4mini site.
@@Duf Yeah, I tried to follow their video but it was so hard to reach the clip to detach the cable so I gave up and just removed the board first. :)
Speed unlock from more4mini Via their new service no need to but a new circuit board in now 10mins and its done. We have seen 14 mph it beeps at 14.5 And even on 20% battery you are still are able to go 10 mph with no problems excellent upgrade, my daughter gets about 18 miles with 20% left she could probably get 20 miles if we went down to 10%.
she is 10 years old.
next upgrade will be hybrid tires.👍
thanks duff
I have a short video of her riding it and what she thinks
th-cam.com/video/f_iE_j6BMeM/w-d-xo.html
Yea I had the option to unlock it via software as well when I bought the board.
Duf yeah they can do it over Bluetooth now it’s so fast. They just send you an app and they can install remotely by Bluetooth.
more4motions site removed all their product :(
Huh? I just tried the link in the video description and it all seems to be there?
@@Duf The page load and I can see the product for a second, but it automatically redirect me to more4mini.ca
@@mochouinard Not sure what to tell you, I have refreshed my browser just to make sure, everything seems to load normally for me.
@@Duf They might not offer these part to Canada customer anymore... I sent them an email to see what going on !
@@mochouinard I checked it too looks like they don't offer it to canadians anymore... I am trying to make my ninebot faster so I can use it for work and stuff like deliveries.
25.5km per hour = 15.8mph - this is the real upgrade to get: th-cam.com/video/FbcJyseDbxk/w-d-xo.html watching the results AFTER the swallowbot upgrade was sad.
Still way too much thermal paste.
Of course, I polish all heatsink surfaces with 2000 grit.
Less is moar.
Sounds like a good plan
The price is over $200 now 😪
No kidding?
@@Duf more4motion.eu/products/swallowbot-control-board-for-segway-minipro-minilite-miniplus-and-ninebot-s
181.5 €....
They have them on eBay for cheap like 120 and 499 and amazon
Are you willing to sell you’re spare system board?
Sure I don't see why not, the swallowbot board seems solid.
Duf do you have a phone number, email or discord?
@@TheAverageCuber You can email me at duf@eucarmy.com
Duf I emailed you but google says it failed , is their another email ?
@@TheAverageCuber Dont just click that link, type it in, it's a valid address.
Cindi is 50 pounds lighter too
Try ninebot S MAX haha
Why?
Увеличивать скорость сигвея это, конечно, дурка. Пропорционально уменьшать пробег и увеличивать травматизм довольно таки тупо.
я не говорю по-русски
wow its 150 now 😡
Must be selling well.
I cant stand the constant breaking
Yep if you are a speed demon the Minipro will frustrate you.
@@Duf nothing I can do?it throws me off ballance when it constantly breaks
too much bla bla, minimum useful information. GOSH where all these "video experts" come from? any previous education???
I know what you mean. They will let anyone make TH-cam videos nowadays, ridiculous!
the only thing worse is the professional critics and gatekeepers!
why dont you do a channel educating ppl! ofc, simply whining is a lot easier
I have the mini pro. I hate the speed limit and the Tilt back. 3 miles an hour quicker is not worth $100. The video is terrible. You need to zoom in and show the actual different components otherwise it's a total waste of time
3 miles an hour on an 11mph device is significant but if you don't feel that way, don't spend the money.
yea my dad gave me his cause he kept falling down and now mine wont shut off after turning it on. cant stand how it does that like this other guy said its more dangerous when it does that so yea the mini pro sucks and 3 miles in my opinion is not worth it. 20 mile an hour would be
I really dont think it would be safe at 20mph because it's too easy to accidentally bump the steering knee bar.
