I do not know if u know this but I own a segway as well and if u want to charge if overnight but u are worried it will overheat they made it that once the battery is full it automatically stop charging no matter even if the charger is still plugged

I have one of these. I weigh 260 lbs and have had no trouble at all. Top speed is the same but my range is about 3 miles shorter. I love this ride.
Thanks for that . I've been looking for a weight limit and couldn't find anything. I weigh like 230 . So yeah. Mine will be here in 4 days. Can't wait.

I bought a xiaomi ninebot mini (its very much the same model, introduced in china late 2015) exactly 3 years ago from China for 473 euro. Nowdays there is an official reseller for ninebot and xiaomi here and ninebot S costs 399.I have used it to commute on bike paths and after 3000km is still great .Only battery has deteriorated to about 60-65% from original travel distance range. As i am looking for a replacement battery i find it is difficult to find an original one and the price is high.I have also changed tyres one time. I live in Greece by the way.Nice review, man. I’ve had the Segway S plus for a year and a half now , and what I can tell is after having it for that long u don’t even need to think, it almost feels like mind control when using it.
Hiya Jacob, just wondering, does your s-plus make noises when you stand on it? My son has bought himself one and it makes an "oink oink" noose as soon as he steps on it and it's really annoying?!
crackerjack6543 yes, I believe that is the stock sound. But there is an option in settings to change the sound to something more modern sounding.

I was considering getting the razor hovertrax prizma but until I saw this video I realised how much better this would be because I weigh over the weight limit on the hovertrax prizma but with the Segway S I don’t go over it I’m glad i stumbled upon this video
Mine will be in on this Tuesday Looking forward to riding it, A friend lent me his sons old minLlite and just to get the upgraded one for my own. Just like Snow Skiing , yet live in an area that is all flat land, Sea-level, SC.

i would not reccomend doing that around your dog because my dog attacked my segway and scratched it all around and now its ruined. Also, dont let segways take away your exercise time. You should get exercise from walking your dog

Tried it at my job and it is amazing. Never ride a segway or anything else and in 10 minutes I was able tu run this machine full speed near washing machines etc.

Great information! I'm looking for something to use for my commute to work. I work about 1.2 miles from work and would really like to keep my car parked during the week.
Similar. I work less than 2 miles away and while I don't mind walking home, I take the bus to work and would rather not.
Picturing someone going down the street to work on this is making my day better, Ty.

Dont feel badly. Im an euc fanatic and just got one. Carrying heavy things on an euc can be tough. I've used a Ninebot before and it was much easier. I think it will pair with my mten well for when wife wants to go.
I also have this device another you should know that he left out is that if u are worried to charge it overnight cuz it might over heat u do not need to worry about that cuz they made that once the batter is full it will automatically stop charging no matter if the cable is in

I have two of them but, when I heard you say only a 15 degree hill I was like... I go up at least a 35 degree hill around 40 probobly and there is no problems with it.

My daughter left hers out overnight and we had a monsoon, like you could not see 20 feet. I thought it was going to be toast, but it was totally fine and that was over a year ago. I did unscrew the taillights and cleaned the condensation that made it in there. Still going strong!

You need to raise the arm in the middle. It's down at your shin. It needs to be at your knee
This latest model doesn't have the ability to extend the knee bar. I did find out you can get an attachment and add one that does if you need that. 😉
That is my one issue with this board. I definitely would like the bar up a little higher but you definitely get used to it fairly quickly.
I would get the extension. Custom fit enhances the experience.

Can you please put a video of assembling this model with gokart as I tried day and night and the users manual isn’t user friendly I found also I found some videos that they have with Segway instead of ninebot making it a bit different and the biggest issue was to take off the steering handle off to put it on gokart

you need to lean both feet backwards, and if that doesnt work then just dont go on a downhill lope
I have a Hoverboard but it is an impossible object. To move, use the pressure of your feet on the platforms. I would like to be sure that the Segway uses internal gyros. Can you confirm that it is the slight inclination of the body that drives it? Not the pressure of the feet. Thank you!

Mine makes this weird owl sound when I try to ride it and when I try to activate it in the app it says "initial S/N cannot be activated and identified"

Hello. I just bought a ninebot s plus. Just received it yesterday. Do you have any tips on the initial balancing. So paranoid getting on it for the first time.
Segway Ninebot S or Segway Ninebot S Plus which one easy and safe for self-balance to use? I always want to own one but worry about balancing my self on this.
Is it easy to walk at night? Is there any lights on the hover? In addition, by walking, it takes 1 and a half hour walking to office; if using this tool, how long could I take? Thx
Ask Segway to develop a Segway that only requires cellphone command to travel forward backward and turn, while a person is riding. This will help if a person has difficulty with physical foot/ankle alternations.
Maybe it could be a setting but a model release with it is a little overkill

Wheels dont spin. It has some sort of sensor and beeps and you can carry it while on.
How long did you charge it for? Would’ve been nice if you said that in the beginning

I just got mine and thinking about getting a go kart kit but the light in the front is not turn on while riding, is this normal or is the front light turn on only at night time? Because in the app it show light is on mode. I know the light bulb works because when I turn on power, it flashes. Thank you !!

But after hearing your review, I'm leaning towards the Halo Rover X Electric Hoverboard Bluetooth 8.5". It's the terrain capabilities that appeal to me. Im sure you got this question plenty of times regarding the Bluetooth pairing PIN number.
Fresh out of the box.
2. Put it together
3. I believe I used the App at some point, and had to watch about five learning videos which the app forces you to do on the ninebot s-plus. Things like step on, turn 360 degress left, the right, roll forward, etc. The app comminicated with the s-plus the entir time. Meaning a connection (via Bluetooth) must have been made to follow my progress, right?
Then, i used it at work. Crusing around, getting throttled back and beeps since I was in learning mode. Which was fast enough.
Later on, after work, i start up the app (which i didnt use at all the entire time at work) and it tells me ive unlocked the s-plus and able to select speed mode.
At some point, the app asked to pair with the device, and so I goto my android phones Bluetooth icon, search for, find the s-plus, and click it as a found Bluetooth device.
The pairing attempt this time asked for a pin. It suggested 0000 or 1234 (four digits, not six im seeing here in your video). The four digit attemps both did not pair successfully.
I then searched for help online, finding the six digit pin suggestions of six 0's (000000) that did not work.
Can I still use the s-plus without the app Yes. Just like I did at work (with most likely the speed limits resulting in the beeping and throttling behavior.
So, that brings us back to where I am.
1. Not able to successfully pair because of failed attemps due to bad PIN number (i assume) because the pairing sequence stops or fails each time (using the phones Bluetooth pairing process.
Which means, I cant successfully use the app at the same time I have the unit on.
I did try to record my trip (which it followed my trip) and when I stopped at my destination (Front door of the gym) the recording said it doesn't log trips less than or only 200 meters).
So, the app is monitoring maybe externally my movements using gps info only, and perhaps, not from the device wheel turning information, suggesting Im still not communicating with the S-plus because I really didnt pair the device successfully. So the app us merely using gps info from my phone only, and not internal sensors from the s-plus.
I'll keep trying to actually pair the s-plus using both phone Bluetooth icon, and, which I think is still the issue, having the s-plus pair with the app as well.
Seeming, their are two forms of pairing. 1. Pairing with the phone, or pairing with the phone AND app. Perhaps, all pairing needs to be done through the app, and not outside the app, using the phones Bluetooth device found process?
Hope this long trouble shoot explanation, leeds to somebody's aha moment to breakthrough to a solution.
